自我实现：马斯洛需求层次视角下的《奥罗拉·利》中女性人物的解读

　　伊丽莎白·巴拉特·勃朗宁（Elizabeth Barrett Browning,1806-1861）是英国维多利亚时期最著名的女性诗人。1857年,她完成了诗体小说《奥罗拉·利》（Aurora Leigh）。此诗叙述了奥罗拉·利的成长过程,以及与两位背景不同的女性人物的交往情况,最终她发现生活与艺术的真谛,并获得自我的实现。本文立足马斯洛需求层次理论,从五大需求层次的角度剖析奥罗拉、沃尔德玛小姐与玛丽安,描述人物寻求自我实现的不同过程,通过分析不同阶层的三位人物,从而全面认识女性群体的个体需求与自我实现情况。论文由七个部分组成。绪论概括了诗人的生平及主要作品,梳理了国内外学界对《奥罗拉·利》研究的现状,介绍了马斯洛需求层次理论的主要内容,介绍了论文的主要结构框架。第一章阐述了马斯洛理论的基本框架,为论文奠定理论基础。第二章从需求层次中的五个层级入手,聚焦于主人公奥罗拉的个人发展过程,论证奥罗拉自我实现的过程。第三章分析沃尔德玛小姐的阴谋与坦白,证明她的自我实现存在缺失,没有归属感和爱的满足。第四章探讨玛丽安·厄尔的“堕落”故事,她拒绝婚姻,将余生献给孩子,即使经济独立,仍因过去的遭遇得...
