媒介技术理论下智能可穿戴设备媒介属性研究

【摘要】:技术带给我们的不仅仅是器物层面上的改观,更有精神内核的涵化作用,对技术和实践及其学理层面的工具理性的研究可以让我们更好地理解技术、驾驭技术,有的放矢,为“我”所用。基于此,本文首先重新定义了“媒介”、“媒介属性”和“智能可穿戴设备”,尤其是对“媒介属性”的定义超越了传统的偶有属性和固有属性范畴,针对本文研究对象的特殊性提出了“外在属性”和“内显属性”的区分。其次从传播学视角简要回溯了作为一种新兴媒介的智能可穿戴设备的发展历程,尤其是对当前具有代表性的设备功能、特点进行了尽可能详细的展示;随后回顾了媒介技术理论的起源、代表人物及观点、媒介技术下的媒介形态变迁,通过这种历史回照来反观当下的智能可穿戴设备作为一种媒介所体现出来的新特征。在第三章通过焦点访谈法详细调研了新闻传播学硕士生对智能可穿戴设备是否能够扮演媒介及其属性的部分见解,以此为参考,结合笔者对智能可穿戴设备实物的详细观察,得出智能可穿戴设备具备一定的信息传播中介作用,并在信息传播、信息呈现、信息操作、信息与人之间的交互方面体现出一定的外在属性,但在智能可穿戴设备平台级、入口级特征越来越明显的情况下,其媒介属性表现出越来越边缘化的色彩。在本章笔者继续总结了智能可穿戴设备媒介属性的内显价值,增添本文研究人文关怀。但笔者同时也发现智能可穿戴设备在信息传播、呈现、交互和反馈方面,尤其是技术与人文关系方面依然面临不少亟待解决的问题。本文最后,笔者在媒介技术理论的框架下,详细论证了未来智能可穿戴设备新媒介的发展趋向:在人类器官的延伸方面继续深入但要警惕“假肢”现象;继续超越时空、身份、文化边界,重构我们的生活情景;在技术、市场等因素的助推下会一直朝着“艺术化”方向发展;未来有可能演变成一个强聚合性质的垄断媒介,朝向“体媒”和“智媒”方向发展,本文也尝试对当前如火如荼的媒介转型和融合提供重要参考视角。
[Abstract]:What technology brings us is not only a change in the level of objects, but also an acculturation of the spiritual core. The study of technology and practice and its instrumental rationality at the theoretical level can enable us to better understand technology, harness it, and aim at it. Based on this, this paper first redefines "medium", "medium attribute" and "smart wearable device", especially the definition of "medium attribute" goes beyond the traditional category of occasional attribute and inherent attribute. According to the particularity of the research object, the distinction between "external attribute" and "explicit attribute" is put forward. Secondly, the development of intelligent wearable device as a new medium is briefly traced back from the perspective of communication. In particular, the characteristics of the current representative equipment are shown in as much detail as possible, and then the origin of the media technology theory, the representative characters and viewpoints, the media morphology changes under the media technology are reviewed. Through this kind of historical reflection, we can see the new features of intelligent wearable devices as a medium. In chapter 3, we investigate the relationship between the smart wearable devices and the graduate students of news communication through the method of focus interview. Whether it can play a part in the media and its attributes, Taking this as a reference, combined with the author's detailed observation of the object of intelligent wearable devices, it is concluded that intelligent wearable devices have a certain role of information dissemination intermediary, and in the information dissemination, information presentation, information operation, The interaction between information and people shows some external attributes, but in the intelligent wearable device platform level, the entry level features become more and more obvious. In this chapter, the author continues to sum up the explicit value of the media attribute of intelligent wearable devices, adding to the humanistic concern of this paper. But at the same time, the author also finds that intelligent wearable devices are spreading information. In the aspects of presentation, interaction and feedback, especially the relationship between technology and humanity, there are still many problems to be solved. Finally, under the framework of media technology theory, The development trend of the new media for intelligent wearable devices in the future is demonstrated in detail: the extension of human organs but the need to guard against the phenomenon of "prosthetic limbs"; continue to transcend time and space, identity, cultural boundaries, reconstruct our life scene; in technology, Factors such as the market will continue to develop in the direction of "artistry"; in the future, it is possible to develop into a strong convergent monopoly medium, in the direction of "physical media" and "intellectual media." This paper also tries to provide an important reference for the current media transformation and integration.
