从群体特征看网络群体极化的形成与消解——以新浪微博“东莞挺

【摘要】：在社交媒体发达的今天,舆论热点层出不穷,网络群体极化现象频发,认识网络群体极化的形成与消解对于网络治理具有重要意义。与以往社会心理学或传播学的宏观分析不同,选择"群体特征"这一微观变量作为切入点,以近年来典型的网络群体极化案例"东莞挺住"事件为例,具体地分析"群体特征"与"群体极端意见"两者的相关性(CORREL函数),发现群体特征与极端意见强度之间确实存在相关关系;并在深入探讨这种相关关系的成因后,有针对性地提出网络群体极化不同发展阶段的网络治理建议。
[Abstract]:With the development of social media, the hot spots of public opinion emerge one after another, and the phenomenon of network group polarization occurs frequently. It is of great significance to understand the formation and resolution of network group polarization for network governance. Different from the macroscopic analysis of social psychology or communication, we choose the "group characteristic" as the starting point, and take the typical case of network group polarization in recent years as the case of "Dongguan sticking up" as an example. By analyzing the correlativity between "group characteristic" and "group extreme opinion" (Correl function), it is found that there is a real correlation between group characteristic and extreme opinion intensity, and the causes of this correlation are discussed deeply. Put forward the network governance suggestions of different development stages of network group polarization.
