[Abstract]:Positive hypoxia inducible factor 1 (hypoxia induced factor 1 (Hif-1) is a key transcriptional regulator for the adaptive response of cells to anoxic microenvironment. It plays an important role in angiogenesis, energy metabolism, cell proliferation and immune response. Tissue fibrosis and repair play an important role. Hif-1 was discovered by Semenza et al. (1) in 1992 when Hep3B cells were treated with hypoxia. The first confirmed target gene is human erythropoietin (human erythropoietin,EPO), which Hif-1 plays during cell adaptation to hypoxia and tumor development.
