论现代小说中的画家形象

【摘要】:表现艺术家应该是二十世纪文学的一个重要主题,因为展示这个发展的社会的病态精神状态只有复杂的人格才能承担。本论文就以多部现代小说中的画家群像作为考察的对象。本论文的写作理路以具体的作品分析作为文本支撑,以波德莱尔与本雅明关于现时“生活”与“艺术”之间的微妙关联的现代性体验作为理论切入点,进而结合文学与艺术的相关理论对这一文学现象进行分析,最后落足于对人物形象多角度多层面的考察,挖掘作为个体的画家在叙事中是如何呈现出一种独特的生命呢喃,而作为群体的画家形象则义是如何构成了一幅现代艺术精神的浮世绘,从而深刻地揭示出他们两难的生存困境。主要从以下几个方面展开具体地论述与考察: 绪论部分,梳理了本论文所涉及的作品的研究现状,明确了本选题的选题意义与创新之处,陈述了本论文写作的方法及内容框架。 第一部分,分析画家在衍生出无尽的现代诱惑的现实中所面对的欲望及其沉沦或超脱,指出除了名利及市场利益的诱惑下所分裂出的画家的两种截然不同的道路之外,他们还要面对来自身体的爱欲诱惑。 第二部分,指出艺术家复杂而深刻的的“皮格玛利翁”情结在现代叙事中反转为自我中心的物神崇拜,画像成为画家自我与他人之间的矛盾的客观化实体,同时也暴露出画家精神上的缺憾,这种执念最终内化为一种自毁的力量,导致画家生命的终结。 第三部分,追溯了艺术家形象的一种恶魔性传统,进而从精神层面上探求小说中的画家形象与某些时代的神经症人格的契合。他们面对的真实世界无法给予他的某种刺激,便执念于寻找彼在的刺激。而正是这样的需求使得他们陷入了种精神的错乱与迷狂之中,也因此获得了艺术上的不断地自我死亡与再生或者说新生。 第四部分,指出不管是异域文化想象还是异空间的抒情想象,作家们对画家艺术生命归宿的思考在某种程度了契合了“艺术终结论”从辩证思维上对“终点”即“起点”的思辨,这也是画家们另一种意义上的救赎与反抗的起点。 最后得出结论:现代叙事中的画家群像应当是二十世纪文学中的一个重要形象,他们作为艺术家个体生命张力的代表,在一定程度上体现出来的是与现代性的内在逻辑以及时代症候之间的契合,以及作家们在时代症候中的思考。
[Abstract]:Performance artist should be an important theme of literature in 20th century. Because the morbid mental state of this developing society can only be borne by complicated personality. This thesis takes the pictures of the painters in many modern novels as the object of investigation. The writing of this thesis is divided into concrete works. Analysis as text support. This paper takes Baudelaire and Benjamin's modern experience of the subtle connection between "life" and "art" as the theoretical breakthrough point, and then analyzes this literary phenomenon with the relevant theories of literature and art. Finally, in the study of the character image from many angles and many levels, the author excavates how the individual painter presents a unique life whisper in the narration. As a group of painters, the image of painters is how to constitute a modern art spirit of the inner world painting, thus profoundly revealing their dilemma of survival, mainly from the following aspects of the specific discussion and investigation:. In the introduction part, the author combs the research status of the works involved in this paper, clarifies the significance and innovation of this topic, and states the method and content framework of this thesis. The first part analyzes the desire faced by painters in the reality of endless modern temptations and their sinking or transcendence. It is pointed out that in addition to the two distinct paths of painters severed by fame and market interests, they have to face the lust temptation from the body. In the second part, the author points out that the complicated and profound "Pygmalion" complex of the artist is turned into self-centered worship of the object god in modern narration, and the portrait becomes the objectified entity of the contradiction between the painter and others. At the same time, it also exposed the spiritual defects of the painter, which eventually internalized into a self-destructive force, leading to the end of the painter's life. The third part traces a demonic tradition of artist image. Then from the spiritual level to explore the image of the painter in the novel and some times of neurotic personality fit, they face the real world can not give him some kind of stimulus. And it is this need that leads them into a kind of insanity and ecstasy, and thus they acquire the constant artistic self-deathness and regeneration or rebirth. Part 4th points out whether it is the exotic cultural imagination or the lyrical imagination of different space. To a certain extent, the writers' thinking on the end of the painter's art life coincides with the dialectical thinking of "the end of the art", that is, the "starting point". This is also the starting point of redemption and resistance in another sense. Finally, the conclusion is drawn: the artists' images in modern narration should be an important image in the literature in 20th century, and they are the representatives of the individual life tension of the artists. To some extent, it reflects the correspondence with the internal logic of modernity and the symptoms of the times, as well as the reflection of the writers in the symptoms of the times.
