论《大地三部曲》的时间叙事与空间叙事

【摘要】：《大地三部曲》是美国作家赛珍珠以中国为背景,以史诗般的笔调叙写中国农民在古老大地上的三代沉浮的经典之作。本文以《大地三部曲》文本为研究对象,从时间叙事和空间叙事角度细致剖析《大地三部曲》,力图获得新解。本论文的结论是：小说中的时间和空间的运用在《大地三部曲》的叙事中扮演了极其重要的角色,它对文本的内涵的表达和作者的写作意图的体现起到了不可或缺的作用。本文分绪论、正文、结语三个部分。绪论部分简要介绍赛珍珠的生平和创作概况,陈述了国内外关于赛珍珠小说研究的现状以及选题意义,并对论文采用的时间、空间两个概念进行了界定。正文共分上下两篇,采用中国传统叙事研究方法和西方叙事学理论相结合的方式,分别从时间和空间两个向度对《大地三部曲》进行重新解读。上篇论述《大地三部曲》中的时间叙事特点。从叙事时间、特殊日期、时间节点三方面来论述。叙事时间主要从时序、时限来探讨。在叙事顺序上,作品以顺叙为主,时间倒错为辅。在叙事时限上,概述与等述相互交替,没有扩述。特殊日期主要选取典型的节日来论述,重点选择了中国的春节、中秋节、清明节三种重要传统节日来论述。最后,叙事口语化的时间节点也是作品时间叙事的一大特点。下篇以米克·巴尔的空间理论为基础,从乡镇空间叙事与都市空间叙事两大方面来论述《大地三部曲》,也就是从物质维度和社会维度两方面研究空间对小说叙事所起的作用,考察作者对乡镇文化与都市文化审美心态的不同。在《大地三部曲》中,存在着两个重要地域,.是逐渐衰落的乡镇,一个是五光十色的大城市,主要指上海。第一章,分析作为“行动着的地点”和“行为的地点”的乡镇空间叙事,揭示作者对于乡土文明的观察与思考；第二章,梳理小说中出现的各种都市空间场所,重点选取街道、舞厅作为代表,并分析作者揭露都市弊病的写作意图。结语部分则简要分析了论题的选择以及研究方法与思路上所作出的一些尝试。
[Abstract]:"the Earth Trilogy" is an American writer Pearl Buck's classic work of describing three generations of Chinese peasants' ups and downs on the ancient earth in an epic style against the background of China. This paper takes the text of "the Earth Trilogy" as the object of study. From the angle of time and space narration, the author analyzes the Earth Trilogy and tries to get a new interpretation. The conclusion of this paper is that the use of time and space in the novel plays an extremely important role in the narration of the Earth Trilogy. It plays an indispensable role in the expression of the connotation of the text and the reflection of the author's writing intention. This paper is divided into three parts: introduction, text and conclusion. The introduction part briefly introduces the life and creation of Pearl Buck, describes the current situation and significance of the research on Pearl Buck's novels at home and abroad, and defines the two concepts of time and space used in the thesis. The text is divided into two parts. By combining the Chinese traditional narrative research method with the western narratology theory, the author reinterprets the Earth Trilogy from two dimensions of time and space. The first part discusses the characteristics of time narration in the trilogy of the Earth. It is discussed from three aspects of narrative time, special date and time node. The narrative time is mainly discussed from time sequence and time limit. In the narrative time limit, the outline is alternated with the equal statement, and there is no extension. The special date is mainly discussed by the typical festival, especially the Spring Festival and the Mid-Autumn Festival in China. Ching Ming Festival discusses three important traditional festivals. Finally, the time node of narrative colloquialization is also a major feature of time narration in works. The next part, based on Mick Barr's space theory, discusses the Earth Trilogy from the two aspects of town and town space and urban space, which is to study the role of space in novel narration from both the material and social dimensions. In the trilogy of the Earth, there are two important regions. They are gradually declining towns and townships, and one is a colorful big city, mainly referring to Shanghai. This paper analyzes the town and township space narration as "the place of action" and "the place of behavior", and reveals the author's observation and thinking about the local civilization. Chapter two, combing all kinds of urban space places appearing in the novel, focusing on the selection of streets, Dance hall as a representative, and analysis of the author's writing intention to expose urban ills. The conclusion part briefly analyzes the choice of the topic and some attempts made on the research methods and ideas.
