[Abstract]:Cynthia Ozickis one of the most active contemporary Jewish writers in the United States. The novel, composed of the short novel the Big scarf and the sequel Rosa, tells the story of a Jewish mother who failed to protect her infant daughter in the Holocaust. And the impact of this traumatic event on the post-war lives of surviving mothers. Berita Freima, Bronita Freima, praised the novel for its powerful, moving, succinct and influential style. In this paper, the traumatic memory theory is used to analyze Rosa's recollection of traumatic events in "Big scarf", and to reveal the trauma caused by the Holocaust to the survivors' body and mind. In this paper, traumatic memory mainly refers to personal experience and seeing events involving death, serious injury and threat, causing people to feel panic, revulsion and helplessness, trying to get out of this mental or emotional problems and can not. The study of traumatic memory in the novel will provide a useful reference for survivors who have experienced similar experiences to heal their wounds, face up to history, eliminate racial discrimination and avoid the recurrence of disasters. This paper mainly discusses three aspects of the protagonist Rosa's traumatic memory, narrative behavior and cure. The first chapter analyzes the expression of Rosa's traumatic memory. Rosa was denied Jewish identity, troubled by the Holocaust, unable to face the reality due to fear of death. In a way of traumatic memory, Ozek highlights the physical and mental trauma that the Holocaust brought to Rosa, especially as a other woman and mother. The second chapter analyzes the behavior of Rosa's narration of traumatic memory. In her memory, she shows her vision of her ideal life through fantasy, tells her experiences to people around her by telling stories, and reexperiences traumatic events and their injuries through her senses. Chapter three explores Rosa's effective way of recalling the past and tracing back to the other. From returning to the Jewish community, restoring the repressed sexual desires of women to facing up to her daughter's death, Ochek tries to show that caring and caring for both sexes within ethnic minorities can give survivors the courage to face up to the past. The best way to rebuild yourself. Finally, this paper points out that in the "Big scarf", Ozick skillfully combines the fate of the Jewish individual with the history of the Jewish nation, and warns the people of all nationalities with the historical tragedy experienced by the Jewish people. Deeply reflect on the significance of human coexistence, actively explore the strategy of world integration.
