从原型批评视角研究海明威的主要代表作品：《永别了，武器》、《丧钟为谁而鸣》和《老人与海》

【摘要】：海明威是享誉世界文坛的美国作家，在英美文学史甚至是世界文学史上都占有不可撼动的地位。他以对人类和生命的独特刻画及简约凝练的写作风格蜚声文坛。在作品中，海明威总是展现其对人性和人类内心世界的探寻和关注。其中《永别了，武器》、《丧钟为谁而鸣》和《老人与海》是海明威的主要代表作品。本文从原型批评角度出发，挖掘和研究海明威的这三部代表作品中的原型与其深刻内涵和意义，剖析海明威在原型影响下对于生命、死亡和重生的态度及其对于人性的思考。本文以加拿大人类学家弗莱的原型批评理论为理论支点，以海明威的三部代表作品为文本依托，从“自然”原型、人物原型、过程原型三个层面进行深刻剖析，探讨了海明威文学创作中的原型的体现和诠释，，进一步研究海明威通过作品中的原型呈现给我们的极具审美意味和悲剧意味的人类共性的思考，及其给我们心灵的巨大震撼。本文将文学理论和文本研究细读相结合，为原型批评领域提供了新的典型的范例，同时在实践上，为文学研究者，特别是海明威研究者提供了一种全新的角度和方法。本论文分为四个部分。第一部分简要介绍海明威的生平，尤其是对于其文学创作产生重要影响的战争经历。同时，介绍原型理论和原型理论的发展过程，为文本分析做好理论铺垫。第二部分探究海明威三部主要代表作品中的原型，如自然原型、人物原型和过程原型，以此探寻海明威作品中的希腊神话原型和圣经原型的再现和演绎，重新领略海明威作品的永恒魅力和人类经验。第三部分是结论部分，本文认为能够使海明威的作品永葆青春和魅力的不仅仅是其独特简约的语言风格、意蕴深长的创作理论和战争与爱情的永恒主题，更重要的是，海明威作品中出现的原型丰富了其作品的内涵和经久不衰的艺术及精神魅力。
[Abstract]:Hemingway is an American writer who is famous in the world, and plays an unshakable role in the history of British and American literature, even in the history of world literature. He is famous for his unique portrayal of man and life and his concise writing style. In his works, Hemingway always shows his exploration and concern for human nature and human inner world. Farewell, Arms, who tolls the Bell, and the Old Man and the Sea are Hemingway's main works. From the perspective of archetype criticism, this paper excavates and studies the archetypes in Hemingway's three representative works and their profound connotation and significance, and analyzes Hemingway's attitude towards life, death and rebirth and his thoughts on human nature under the influence of archetype. Based on the archetypal criticism theory of Canadian anthropologist Fry, and the three representative works of Hemingway as the text, this paper makes a profound analysis from the three levels of "nature" prototype, character prototype and process prototype. This paper probes into the embodiment and interpretation of the archetypes in Hemingway's literary creation, and further studies Hemingway's reflection on the aesthetic and tragic human commonalities presented to us by the archetypes in his works, as well as his great shock to our hearts. This paper combines literary theory with text study and provides a new typical example in the field of archetypal criticism. In practice, it provides a new angle and method for literary researchers, especially Hemingway researchers. This paper is divided into four parts. The first part briefly introduces Hemingway's life, especially the war experience which has important influence on his literary creation. At the same time, the development process of prototype theory and prototype theory is introduced to lay the groundwork for text analysis. The second part explores the archetypes in Hemingway's three main representative works, such as natural archetypes, characters archetypes and process prototypes, so as to explore the reappearance and deduction of Greek mythological archetypes and biblical archetypes in Hemingway's works. Revisiting the eternal charm and human experience of Hemingway's works. The third part is the conclusion. This paper holds that Hemingway's works can keep their youth and charm not only in their unique and simple language style, but also in their profound creative theory and eternal themes of war and love. The archetypes in Hemingway's works enrich the connotation and enduring artistic and spiritual charm of his works.
