空间理论解读《德伯家的苔丝》的异化

【摘要】：托马斯哈代作为英国文学史上最著名的乡土作家,一生中创作了大量诗意小说,《德伯家的苔丝》是其最著名的小说之一。文中哈代详细描绘了在工业文明和资本主义入侵下乡村经济瓦解和乡村社会变迁的过程。哈代笔下的乡村贫民在同命运抗争过程中试图建立稳定的社群和和谐的人际关系,但最终都未能如愿。大多数评论家主要从生态批评或女性主义批评等角度对文本进行解读,本文主要运用亨利列菲伏尔的动态空间理论、雷蒙威廉斯的马克思主义空间理论对《德伯家的苔丝》的异化现象进行解读,试图从空间理论视角,分析产生其异化的深层原因。本文主要由三部分构成。第一章借助亨利列菲伏尔的空间分类方法,着重介绍工业资本主义空间及其特征。主要从亚雷德伯家的乡村别墅,铁路、机器等代表现代文明的空间及其现代都市空间等方面阐述。第二章着重分析在工业化和城市化进程中《德伯家的苔丝》中的乡村社会空间的异化,主要阐述自然空间的异化、工作空间的异化及家庭空间的异化。第三章主要通过三位主人公的心理变化分析文中个体心理空间的异化。通过对工业资本空间、乡村社会空间及个体心理空间的分析,文章最后得出产生异化现象的主要原因,对城市化工业化时期资本主义通过空间扩张及空间生产来最大程度获取利润的本质进行剖析,以期对当前正在快速推进的中国城镇化道路提供些许警醒。
[Abstract]:Thomas Hardy, as the most famous local writer in the history of English literature, has written a large number of poetic novels in his life. Tess of the d'Urbervilles is one of his most famous novels. Hardy describes in detail the process of rural economic disintegration and rural social change under the invasion of industrial civilization and capitalism. Hardy's rural poor tried to establish stable community and harmonious interpersonal relationship in the struggle against fate, but they failed to do so. Most critics interpret the text from the angle of ecological criticism or feminist criticism. Lefevere's Theory of dynamic Space, Raymond? Williams' Marxist theory of space interprets the alienation of Tess of the d'Urbervilles and tries to analyze the deep causes of its alienation from the perspective of space theory. This paper is mainly composed of three parts. Chapter one with Henry? Lefevere's spatial classification method focuses on the introduction of industrial capitalist space and its characteristics. Mainly from Yare? The Dobbs' country villas, railways, machines and so on represent the modern civilization space and the modern urban space and so on. The second chapter mainly analyzes the alienation of rural social space in the process of industrialization and urbanization, mainly expounds the alienation of natural space, the alienation of work space and the alienation of family space. The third chapter analyzes the alienation of individual psychological space through the psychological changes of the three protagonists. Through the analysis of the industrial capital space, the rural social space and the individual psychological space, the paper finally draws the main reasons of the alienation phenomenon. This paper analyzes the nature of capitalism to maximize profits through space expansion and space production in the period of urbanization and industrialization in order to provide a little warning to the road of urbanization which is advancing rapidly in China.
