成长的蜕变:“亨利四世”中王子哈尔首篇人物独白的重要性

【摘要】：在莎士比亚的戏剧"亨利四世,上篇"中,王子哈尔的第一篇人物独白体现出其人物性格的复杂性和矛盾性。在这篇独白发表之前,王子哈尔轻佻浮浪,纵情声色;而通过这篇独白,观众看到了一个完全不同于以往的形象。一方面,哈尔展现出作为王位继承者的使命感和责任感;另一方面,他利用别人的性格缺陷和行为瑕疵来反衬自己正面形象的行为又让观众觉得其暗藏心机。年轻的王子哈尔正处于一个找寻自我的艰难摸索过程中。当观众看到他努力锤炼自己的个人品质以符合公众对于理想君王的期待时,我们有理由相信他是未来国家统治者的合格人选。
[Abstract]:In Shakespeare's play Henry IV, the first monologue by Prince Hal reflects the complexity and contradiction of his character. Before the monologue was published, Prince Hal was frivolous and flirtatious; through the monologue, the audience saw a completely different image. On the one hand, Hal shows a sense of mission and responsibility as a successor to the throne; on the other hand, he uses other people's personality defects and behavioral flaws to counter his positive image and makes the audience feel that he has hidden feelings. The young prince, Hal, was in the midst of a difficult quest to find himself. When the audience sees his efforts to refine his personal qualities to meet the expectations of the public for the ideal monarch, we have reason to believe that he is a qualified candidate for the future ruler of the country.
