狄金森1862年死亡诗歌的燕卜逊含混理论解读
[Abstract]:Emily Dickinson (1830 / 1886) is known as one of the founders of modern American poetry. Ambiguity is the remarkable feature of his poetry, and the use of ambiguity, a unique artistic technique, greatly enriches the connotation of poetry. Based on William Yanbson's ambiguous theory and Dickinson's poetics, the author attempts to explore the ambiguity in Dickinson's 1862 death poetry from three aspects: lexical layer, syntactic layer and rhetorical device layer. This paper consists of four chapters. Chapter 1 focuses on Dickinson's own poetics theory, which is related to ambiguity. Ambiguity is the pursuit of Dickinson's poetry creation. Dickinson refers to inclusion as circumferential "circumferential extension", which is consistent with Yan Benson's ambiguous theory. Chapter 2 analyzes the ambiguity in death poetry from the lexical level by using the theory of ambiguity. Emily consciously creates ambiguity in poetry; for Dickinson, language is password and mask, and words are the most basic. Dickinson hides his feelings and thoughts through semantic ambiguity, which leaves readers with space for imagination and makes readers have a variety of interpretations of the meaning of poetry. Chapter 3 discusses the ambiguity in Dickinson's death poetry from the syntactic level. In Dickinson's poems, ellipsis is often used to provide readers with endless association and imagination space. At the same time, the use of one word in combination causes syntactic hazy and makes it possible to interpret a variety of things. Chapter 4 discusses the ambiguity in Dickinson's poetry from a rhetorical point of view. Dickinson used metaphors, puns and paradoxes in his death poems to enhance the meaning of his poems. Dickinson was born into a Puritan family, read the Bible well from an early age, and was deeply influenced by religious traditions. However, despite believing in the existence of God, Dickinson often questioned God's kindness and the existence of eternal life, and therefore lingered in faith and doubt. This paper discusses the vague characteristics of Dickinson's 1862 death poetry, and reveals Dickinson's vague attitude towards death questioning and trust.
