《虹》中第三代人的生态女性主义解读

　　劳伦斯是二十世纪英国最伟大的作家之一。关于他的作品,评论家们主要关注的是他作品中对两性关系的描写,较少注意到其作品中对女性与自然的思考。这篇论文将从生态女性主义的角度解读《虹》。引语部分简要介绍劳伦斯的生平、《虹》的研究现状以及生态女性主义的发展。戴维·赫伯特·劳伦斯（1885-1930）出生于英国诺丁汉郡伊斯特伍德镇的一个矿工家庭。他才华出众,所写作品几乎囊括了全部的文学创作体裁,但最突出的成就在于他的十部长篇小说和数十篇中篇小说,这其中,一般评论家认为,《虹》代表了劳伦斯小说的最高成就。学者们对《虹》的主题展开了深入的分析。大多数研究集中在对书中布朗温家三代人两性关系的变化上,也有学者认为劳伦斯希望为现代女性塑造厄秀拉这样一个榜样,鼓励女性追求平等自由。当然也有一些指责批评,但这并不能影响《虹》作为文学名著的地位。本文的作者认为该小说中还有更深刻的主题,那就是其中所表现的生态女性主义观点。生态女性主义是在女性主义者对生态越来越多的关注中发展起来的,其宗旨是反抗男权压迫,建立与自然和谐共处的世界。第一章探讨《虹》中男权社会对自然和以厄秀拉为代表的女性的压制及自然与女性的亲密联系。工业...
