从小句和语气视角对小说《傲慢与偏见》中人物对话的人际意义解读

本文以系统功能语言学的人际功能理论为基础,分析、探讨了著名的女性小说家简·奥斯汀的代表作《傲慢与偏见》中人物对话体现出来的人际意义特征。通过分析对话中体现出来的人际意义,本文发现了从小句和语气角度来解读文学作品的新视角。人际功能是韩礼德的系统功能语言学中三大元功能之一,它可以被用来探索小说中不同人物之间的人际关系,以及各人物的性格。通过在小句和语气层面上对人际意义的分析,本文还发现,人物性格和各人物之间的人际关系与他们的话轮,小句的密度和语气模式的选择密切相关。各个人物的话轮多少、小句密度和语气模式的选择受到三个主要因素的影响,它们分别是:各人物在对话中拥有的话语权力,各人物在对话中的情感投入程度和对话的主题。这三个因素又相互作用,相互影响。为了证明这三个因素对人物性格和各人物之间的人际关系的影响,作者运用统计的方法,对不同人物在各对话中使用的小句和语气特点进行了比较分析。在分析的基础上,作者又讨论了在对话中各人物在对话中的话语权力,话题选择和个人情感投入程度是如何反应人际关系的。通过比较和分析,我们发现,对话中人物拥有的话语权力,话题与对话参与者的相关程度和各人物的情感投入程度密切相...
