奈达功能对等理论指导下的《百夫长的领导艺术》的汉译

功能对等理论是奈达翻译理论的核心,是我国最早引进、研究最多的西方翻译理论之一。该理论对一直受忽视的译文读者给予了更多重视,打破了我国传统译论中从静态角度评析译文好坏的局面,对指导英汉、汉英翻译实践具有不可估量的作用。本论文试图将功能对等理论与非虚构文学作品翻译相结合,以笔者亲身参与翻译的纽约时报畅销书作家杰夫·奥莱利的非虚构小说《百夫长的领导艺术》为例,从句型重构、熟语翻译、隐性信息转为显性信息和修辞翻译四个方面入手,证明功能对等理论对指导英汉翻译实践,特别是非虚构小说汉译具有重要价值。本论文一共包括五个章节：第一章引言部分交代了论文的研究目的和组织结构。第二章围绕《百夫长的领导艺术》的原文和译文情况展开,逐一介绍了该书的内容提要、作者简介、文学体裁和翻译情况,为下文条分缕析地研究译本做好铺垫。第三章是对奈达功能对等理论的完整描述。笔者首先对奈达本人进行了简要介绍,随后对功能对等理论作出全景综述,包括翻译对等的起源追溯,奈达功能对等理论的发展历程、科学基础和价值描述等。第四章对《百夫长的领导艺术》之中译本进行个案研究,详尽说明译者如何将奈达功能对等理论运用于该书的翻译,特别是从句型重构...
