论印象主义在约瑟夫·康拉德《黑暗的心》中的运用

约瑟夫·康拉德(1857—1924)是19世纪末20世纪初英国文坛的重要作家之一。他的众多作品被公认为文学经典。康拉德的小说《黑暗的心》于1899年以连载的形式发表于当时极具盛誉的文学杂志《布莱克伍德杂志》。小说一经发表,立即引起评论界的关注,并好评如潮。在康拉德众多优秀的小说作品中,《黑暗的心》占有重要的地位。康拉德的航海生涯长达二十余年,航海生活是他的重要创作源泉。小说《黑暗的心》讲述了船长马洛在一艘停靠于伦敦外的海船上叙述的关于自己在非洲刚果河所经历的故事。小说自问世以来一直是研究者和评论家们关注和研究的焦点。在众多的研究评论中,重点在于对这部小说的人物、主题、小说中所体现的殖民观、道德观的探讨。综观国内外的研究,本文作者发现,康拉德的印象主义艺术创作主张和创作手法虽已有所涉及,但尚未有学者地对《黑暗的心》这部小说中所体现的印象主义创作手法进行系统、全面的讨论和研究。鉴于康拉德在小说《“水仙”号船上的黑水手》(1897)、他的个人自传和他与朋友来往信件中所阐明的艺术主张、以及《黑暗的心》这部小说中所体现的印象主义因素,本文主要探讨印象主义创作手法在康拉德的《黑暗的心》中运用。具体...
