马丁路德金布道文的文体分析

马丁路德金是本世纪最有影响里的人物之一。他被称为“黑人之音”,而且在1964年获得诺贝尔和平奖此殊荣。他是在文学上很有造诣的一名学者,几乎每篇布道文都写得很好,都是经过遣词造句和反复修改过的,是我们学习语言很好的语料。学习他的写作方法可以使我们文笔生辉,谈吐生色。这项研究的目的在于揭示马丁是如何继承并发展黑人布道的传统的。风格对牧师来说是打动人心的一种手段,所以深入研究马丁布道文的风格是很有必要的,解释了为何他的布道文具有非凡的说服力。这项研究的意义在于以下三点。第一点,为了发现马丁布道文的语言风格、修长特点和语篇结构特色。研究表明马丁布道文具有非凡说服力的其中一个原因就是他平实,生动的语言。在布道文中,他用具体形象的语言描述了当时黑人悲惨的生活状况,鞭策种族歧视,种族隔离这些社会问题,并且表达了对运动胜利的信心。使我们对当时黑人的生活状况有了非常具体的了解。第二点,马丁的布道文是英语教学很好的素材。平实的语言,生动的描述,对听众强大的感染力构成他布道文的文体特色。通过修辞,句法,语篇等方面的分析,使得读者能够培养适当运用语言的能力，更好的欣赏这种文体特色。第三点,这项研究运用了文体学...
