叶芝神秘主义诗歌的认知文体分析

  本文从认知文体学的三个角度(图形与背景,认知指示语和概念隐喻)分析了著名爱尔兰诗人叶芝的三首神秘主义诗歌。通过这样的分析,本文旨在表明对诗歌的认知文体分析是阅读欣赏诗歌的一条可靠、有价值的途径。首先,从诗歌的本质看,诗歌是语言的一种运用,是诗人运用语言表达内心思想的一种文体格式,这种语言运用需要人们对此做出解释。文学批评是人们解释诗歌的主要途径,但长期以来文学批评家们一直致力于研究不同观点的细节末梢,因为他们更对作品的变异与独特性感兴趣,而这种结果却不幸导致了对作品偏离常规的分析往往过分强调差异,他们要么使用一些界定不清的术语,要么凭着自己的个人感觉。因此,只靠文学批评不能提供一种科学系统的方法来解释文学作品。其次,既然文体学是对文学语言的研究,并且这种研究近年来越来越转入认知方向,因此认知诗学,或认知文体学,作为认知语言学的最前沿领域之一,能够为我们提供一种系统科学的方式来讨论作者和读者对世界的理解和阐释如何在语篇组织中体现这些阐释。实际上,认知诗学,或认知文体学是诗性语言在认知语言学上的应用。最后,作为世界文坛上最伟大的诗人之一,叶芝创作了许多不朽的作品,他的作品跨越浪漫主义、前拉...
