跨文化视野中《喜福会》的文化因素分析

　　随着当今时代全球化过程的日益频繁,来自不同文化背景的人们之间的交往也日益频繁起来。当今时代人们迫切想要知道如何在跨文化交际的过程中中应尽可能地避免冲突从而进行有效地交流。跨文化交际学是专门研究具有不同文化背景的人在交际交往过程中的障碍与难题及其解决方法的一门学科。作为现代社会的最主要特征之一,跨文化交际研究的基本理论认为,来自不同文化背景下的人们之间的交往过程是相当复杂的,因为在交际过程中由于不同文化背景下人的价值观念、家庭观念和行为方式的不同,对同一事物也会有不同的理解。而我们如果不了解这些差异就会导致跨文化交际的失败。华裔作家谭恩美的畅销小说《喜福会》从不同文化背景下的母女关系出发,致力于全球视野下的文化碰撞与融合,分析了中美文化的差异与沟通,对于研究跨文化交际具有重大意义。论文试图通过分析其作品中体现的跨文化因素,借此反映出文化的隔阂和差异必须通过文化融合与文化认同来实现平等的跨文化交际,以不同文化之间的沟通与平等对话为基础,力求消除全球化交际过程中文化冲突。在本文讨论的文化文本《喜福会》中,“中国”母亲与“美国”女儿之间正是由于彼此价值观念和文化背景的差异从而形成她们之间跨文化...
