论康拉德《黑暗之心》的模糊性

约瑟夫·康拉德成为著名作家与其思想的模糊性密不可分。模糊性让他的作品既反映又质疑针锋相对的文化思潮。与其他人一样,他受所处时代的影响。然而,他对这些观点的洞察力和预见性无人能比。处于维多利亚晚期向早期现代文化过渡的历史时期,康拉德既是浪漫的,又反对浪漫,既保守又叛逆。他的作品兼容了19世纪和20世纪不同时期的思想文化特点。《黑暗之心》是康拉德最为重要也最为伟大的作品之一。该作品内涵丰富、意思模糊,充满了不可解决的诸多矛盾。本论文以《黑暗之心》为例,旨在揭示他所处的时代背景、康拉德模糊性思想的形成和多意文本之间错综复杂的关系。本文的第一个问题是要回答康拉德对黑人、白人、帝国和语言所持有的态度。第二个问题是要解决康拉德的思想是如何形成的。当然,康拉德并不是被动机械地受意识形态、社会阶层和经济历史的影响。他在受社会历史和个人经历的影响的同时,也在不同程度上改变历史和书写自己的人生。第三个问题关于康拉德的意识形态如何在他的作品中体现和读者如何评价《黑暗之心》中自相矛盾的内容。为了回答以上问题,本论文采用多种研究方法。后殖民主义研究方法主要用来阐释康拉德的东方主义思想;解构主义理论主要用来解构小...
