人际功能视角下《李尔王》中主要情节人物的权势关系变化

《李尔王》被20世纪英国资深的莎学评论家布拉德利（A.C.Bradley）誉为莎翁四大悲剧中“最伟大的成就”,该剧深刻的主题和人文思想总能给不同时代的读者和观众以心灵震撼。国内外有关《李尔王》的评论涉猎文学、宗教、政治、哲学、舞台艺术、语言学及心理学等诸多领域；议题广泛,有从对宗教思想的探索到对女性主义的讨论,从政治背景的反思到对人性的拷问等等。本文正是在前人研究的背景下,通过采用描述和解释相结合的定性研究方法,以语言学家韩礼德的系统功能语法中的人际功能为理论依据,从语气、情态和呼语三个方面对《李尔王》主要情节中人物之间的权势关系变化进行探析,旨在探讨权势关系变化在语言表现形式上的体现,并进一步揭示悲剧产生的原因。本文按主要情节的发展将剧本分为王国“分割前”与“分割后”两个阶段,通过对两个阶段主要人物的话语进行具体分析和对比,发现人际功能框架下语言选择的反差揭示了李尔与三个女儿间权势关系的变化：王国“分割前”,在语气分析中,命令和疑问是李尔话语中突出的言语功能,三个女儿都未使用并给予期待的回应；在情态分析中,带有“强制”和“允许”意义的情态词未被用于任何女儿的话语中；在呼语的分析中,亲...
