从功能语法角度分析艾米莉·狄金森的诗歌——语篇体裁的方法

　　狄金森是美国最伟大的诗人之一。虽然所受的教育不多,但她在家里广泛阅读。20多岁以后,她就开始过着隐居生活。虽然狄金森呆在家里仅仅是通过书信与外界朋友进行联系,但是她一生中创作了1775首诗歌,以及许许多多的书信。 狄金森隐居在家里,不断探索生命和大自然的意义,以及爱情、死亡、灵魂等,她对这些方面的观点和态度在她的诗歌中都充分体现出来。本文将选取狄金森诗歌中的叙述文本和描写文本两种体裁的诗歌作为语料进行分析。叙述性诗歌是告诉读者发生了什么事情或者向读者讲述故事；描写性诗歌是描写物体或者某些背景。功能语言学家认为,体裁通过体裁结构进入文本。体裁结构所扮演的角色就是“语言作为语义更高层次上的投射”的角色(Halliday,1977:193)。因此,本文首先是在体裁层面上分析这两种体裁的诗歌,揭示它们的体裁结构。 另一方面,我们是要发掘不同语场诗歌的深层意义。我们根据不同的语场,把狄金森的诗歌分为死亡主题诗歌,自然主题诗歌和爱情主题诗歌,从而去探索狄金森对死亡、自然和爱情的态度和看法。根据Labov的叙述文本结构,以及在前面我们已经揭示了的各个文本诗歌的体裁结构,我们得出,对于叙述性诗歌而言,...
