《奥多芙的神秘》中的女性意识探究

《奥多芙的神秘》是十八世纪著名的女性哥特小说家安·拉德克利夫的经典之作。这部小说一经问世就引来了各方面的争论。虽然自20世纪20年代以来,英国哥特小说已逐步引起学者关注,尤其是第二次世界大战以后,哥特小说的研究受到越来越多的青睐。但是我国对于哥特小说的研究还相对落后。传统的哥特小说涉及较少,涉及传统女性哥特小说的女性意识寥寥无几,很少有人对作为哥特小说经典之作的《奥多芙的神秘》进行很完整的分析。本文试图通过文本细读对《奥多芙的神秘》分析文本中的女性角色,进而发掘出她作品中强调女性要求得到自由,寻求自我的女性意识的觉醒。 本论文围绕顺从、压制与反叛、自我意识觉醒方面来解析安·拉德克利夫的《奥多芙的神秘》的女性意识的建构。以期能对早期哥特小说、女性哥特主义小说的研究提供研究视角。本文从五个章节进行论述:序言部分介绍国内外对安·拉德克里夫及其作品的文学评论和作者重要地位及其作品的研究价值。第一部分阐述18世纪英国女性内化的顺从的淑女意识。通过父权制社会中女性的顺从地位的社会背景及作者的淑女本性及文本中女性的顺从意识来展开论述被奴役的女性把父权社会安置在女性身上的特征:顺从、天真、被动、纯洁、...
