【摘要】："中和位育"是东方古代"中和论"哲学的古代表述,反映着东亚各国古代共同的哲思与智慧,具有重要的当代价值。"中和位育"之核心,是使天地万物各处其位,各安其位,从而促使万物得以繁育滋长,是包含人在内的天地万物的"化育"之道;"中和位育"落实在具体的人生实践之中,就是以心性修养为核心,培育人的"中和"之美德;"中和位育"在中国古代文化传统中得以推行、贯彻的重要途径是"礼乐教化"。"礼乐教化"使东方的政治、伦理和文化、教育制度始终贯穿着以教化人心并从而促进整体和谐为旨归的审美教育。"中和位育"奠基于《周易》的"生生"哲学和"太极化生"观念,体现了东方哲学对天地自然规律与人生、社会发展之根本奥妙的揭示;"中和位育"观念中的"和实生物""和而不同""执其两端而用其中"等论述,为现代社会发展中处理好人与人之间、人与社会之间、国家与国家之间、人类社会与自然环境之间的发展和矛盾问题提供了具有启示意义的东方智慧。
