索萨德性知识论的适切性思想研究

【摘要】:知识论是当代英美分析哲学思潮中的重要学术领域。传统的知识三元定义,将知识明确表达为是得到辩护的真信念。直到上个世纪60年代,葛梯尔问题横空出世并彻底撼动了这个定义。他提出了传统的知识三元定义并非是知识的充要条件,就此影响了当代知识论的研究核心与导向。就在这样的学术背景之下,以索萨为代表的学者开创并发展了结合道德伦理学内涵的德性知识论进路。“适切性”是索萨德性知识论中举足轻重的核心概念之一。作为德性知识论中德性可靠论一支的代表人物,索萨主张一种融合了内在主义和外在主义的新型知识论。这种理论所涉及的伦理学内涵可追溯至古希腊的亚里士多德道德伦理学。通过德性视角主义的审视,理智德性品质被视作是认知主体求知行为的重要基石。求知行为作为一种特殊的行为表现,包含着“精准性”、“熟练性”与“适切性”三种结构特点。能够获得最终知识的求之行为,对以上三种性质缺一不可。而其中最重要的便是“适切性”。“适切性”是对一个行为是依据其“熟练性”而导致结果“精准性”的过程观照。把它放入认知行为中观照,即是为整个认知过程获得的真信念起到辩护作用。本文对索萨德性知识论及“适切性”的思想背景、理论框架、发展源流以及自身特点做了详尽的梳理,较全面的展示了“适切性”的理论内涵与创新之处。但“适切性”也面临着自身的理论困境,它也并非能够消除所以葛梯尔反例的诘难。本文尝试着从德性知识论理论内部来提供一种修补“适切性”的可能。
[Abstract]:The theory of knowledge is an important academic field in contemporary British and American analytical philosophy. Traditional triple definition of knowledge clearly expresses knowledge as a true belief to be defended. Until -40s, The problem of Gentil emerged and shook the definition completely. He proposed that the traditional triple definition of knowledge was not the necessary and sufficient condition of knowledge, which affected the research core and direction of contemporary knowledge theory, and it was in this academic background that he proposed that the traditional triple definition of knowledge is not the necessary and sufficient condition of knowledge. The scholars represented by Souza pioneered and developed the approach of moral knowledge theory combined with the connotation of moral ethics. "appropriateness" is one of the most important core concepts in Souza's theory of knowledge of virtue. As one of the core concepts of virtue knowledge theory, morality is reliable. On the representative figures of a branch, Souza advocates a new theory of knowledge that combines internalism and externalism. The ethical implications of this theory can be traced back to Aristotle moral ethics in ancient Greece. Intellectual virtue is regarded as an important cornerstone of cognitive subject's knowledge seeking behavior. It contains three structural characteristics: precision, proficiency and appropriateness. "relevance" is a reflection of the process by which an action results in "precision" based on its "proficiency." put it in the cognitive behavior. In this paper, the author makes a detailed analysis of the ideological background, theoretical framework, source of development and characteristics of Souza's knowledge of virtue and its "appropriateness". It fully shows the theoretical connotation and innovation of "suitability", but "relevance" is also facing its own theoretical dilemma. This paper attempts to provide a possibility of repairing "appropriateness" from the theory of knowledge of virtue.
