“明”之检讨——古印度知识传统探析

【摘要】:"明"是印度知识传统中的核心象征,它往往被研究者理解为"科学";通过这种欠缺检讨性做法,现代自然、社会、人文科学言说中的印度知识传统获得了各种与现代科学类似的范畴。但是,将西方知识传统的范畴应用到印度知识传统,无益于人们了解印度本己的知识经验。通过对古典哲学中"科学"与印度语境中"明"的回溯,可以看到:"明"不是科学,而是纯粹的技艺,印度知识传统中并没有古典哲学意义上的理性科学。
[Abstract]:"Ming" is the core symbol of India's intellectual tradition, which is often understood by researchers as "science"; through this lack of self-criticism, modern nature, society, The Indian tradition of knowledge in the discourse of the humanities has acquired various categories similar to those of modern science. However, the category of western traditional knowledge has been applied to the Indian tradition of knowledge. It is not good for people to understand the knowledge and experience of India. By looking back at the "science" in classical philosophy and the "light" in the context of India, we can see that "Ming" is not science, but pure skill. There is no rational science in the sense of classical philosophy in Indian knowledge tradition.
