“造新因”:胡适对建构“社会重心”的省思

【摘要】：“社会”作为理解近代中国变动的关键性概念,早已引起众多研究者的关注。值得辨析的是,类似于“社会”这样的概念,对其的清晰把握自是重要的一面,没有认知上的转变,势必影响到对其的接纳;而“社会”概念的另一面同样值得关注,那就是其所映射的“巨变”具有实质性意义,构成把握近代中国历史的枢机所在。对此加以探讨,对于重新认识近代中国以及生活在那个时代的人,或不无裨益。胡适作为20世纪最具影响力的读书人,其如何使用“社会”这一概念并基于此规划自己的角色,如何认识与分析中国“社会”的基本架构,又如何阐明“社会重心”的建构乃中国所面临的最突出、最急迫的问题,皆构成揭示“社会”这一概念重要的维度。
[Abstract]:As a key concept in understanding the changes in modern China, "Society" has attracted many researchers' attention.It is worth differentiating that a concept such as "society" is an important aspect of a clear grasp of it, and no cognitive change is bound to affect its acceptance; the other side of the concept of "society" is also worth paying attention to.That is its mapping of "great changes" of substantive significance, constitute the cardinal grasp of modern Chinese history.It may be helpful to re-understand modern China and people living in that era.Hu Shi, as the most influential scholar in the 20th century, how to use the concept of "society" and how to plan his own role, and how to understand and analyze the basic structure of Chinese "society".How to clarify that the construction of "social gravity" is the most prominent and urgent problem that China is faced with constitutes an important dimension to reveal the concept of "society".
