荀子公正观论略

【摘要】：在荀子那里,人之品德、才能的差等不齐是其社会理论的预认前提和出发点,而其理想中的社会也是一个差等社会。这种差等理论有异于现代讲求公平公正的社会理念,但同样能够体现公正。依荀子,要维持社会之公正齐一,恰当的方法是正视事实上的差等不齐,然后制定公正齐一的标准,差等的阶层得其差等的资源。人的阶层上的差等并非固定不变,上升的途径便是提升自己的品德、才能。人的欲望为人们在差等结构的社会中改变其自身的社会地位提供了动力,再配以政治上的教化、赏罚及其他措施,从而建成群居和一的“至平”社会。
[Abstract]:In Xunzi's view, the difference between human moral character and talent is the premise and starting point of his social theory, and his ideal society is also a poor society. This theory of difference is different from the modern social concept of fairness and justice, but it can also embody justice. According to Xunzi, in order to maintain the justice of society, the appropriate way is to face up to the fact that the difference is uneven, and then to formulate the standard of justice and uniformity, and the poor class to get its poor resources and so on. The difference in the class of people is not fixed, the way to rise is to improve their own character, ability. Human desire provides an impetus for people to change their own social status in a society of poor and other structures, coupled with political education, reward and punishment, and other measures, so as to build a "to the peace" society in which people live in groups and one.
