儒学中的“诚”及其在心理学和心理分析中的意义

本研究致力于探索中国哲学和中国文化中的心理学意义和其对荣格分析心理学的贡献。作为一位来自美国的心理学博士生,我的研究重点在于对“诚”的心理分析与探索。“诚”的意义与哲理主要源自《中庸》,同时“诚”也是《中庸》的核心内容,具有深远的心理建构的意义。我们的基本研究设想是,研究“诚”能够让人们够洞悉人性,启迪心智,发展心性。“诚”作为一种人类潜在的品性,具有融会与整合人主观转变和客观转变的功能,而个人发展必将影响社会发展,缺乏个人发展也会牵制社会的发展空间。 中国人和西方人分别把“诚”译成不同的英语单词,每个译词均含有哲学、心理学的意义。在心理学的意义上我们把中国的“诚”定义为“为改变个人自我意识的主导地位,使之同个人所接受的道德规范及自我发展过程一致,培养和建立崭新的习惯、存在方式,面对自我现实和社会现实所进行的有意识的努力。” 儒学中完整的人格意味着与社会的有机结合,重视把为人共同接受的社会生活和人类现实结合起来。个人现实是社会现实的一个主要方面,也是社会现实的一个组成部分。社会现实虽然是由个人组成的,却不能降低为个人现实。本文将循着荣格在他心理学自性化(individuation)理念...
