An Analysis of the Connection between the Employment Tendency of Undergraduates Majoring in Tourism Management and Their Industry and Countermeasures

The low employment ratio of undergraduates majoring in tourism management has always been a hard nut to crack that puzzles tourism educational circle and tourism enterprises. The paper,based on the application of factor analysis to summarize the factors that influence the employment tendency of undergraduates majoring in tourism management,makes an analysis of the connection by applying logistic regression mode. salary and prospect; enterprise reputation and speciality; degree of attention; professional ability are factors that promote their employment tendency. Industrial property; family and workplace; non-professional ability; gender difference and personal value orientation are factors that restrict their employment tendency. Macro-employment policy has no significant impact on their employment tendency. Finally,strategies are put forward from five perspectives of society,enterprises,institutions of higher learning,family and undergraduates so as to improve their employment tendency in the industry.
