双边制度安排与外资企业绩效研究

【摘要】：文章运用新制度理论并结合企业的内部资源,分析中国经济转型时期政治关系这一双边制度安排对外资企业绩效的直接与间接影响。基于1998—2009年的面板数据,文章对制造业领域来自31个不同国家的1623个外资企业的绩效进行实证分析。结果表明:在区位与时间效应同质的情况下,双边良好的政治关系对外资企业绩效的直接促进作用以及市场能力的替代效应都不显著,而对外资企业组织冗余与在华经营时间的替代效应显著;在区位和时间效应异质的情况下,双边良好政治关系对外资企业绩效具有直接促进作用,同时对外资企业市场能力、组织冗余、在华经营时间具有一定的替代效应。
[Abstract]:Based on the new institutional theory and the internal resources of enterprises, this paper analyzes the direct and indirect influence of the bilateral institutional arrangement on the performance of foreign-funded enterprises in the period of economic transformation in China. Based on panel data from 1998 to 2009, this paper makes an empirical analysis on the performance of 1623 foreign-funded enterprises from 31 different countries. The results show that when the location and time effect are the same, the bilateral good political relationship has no significant effect on the performance of foreign-funded enterprises and the substitution effect of market ability. On the other hand, the substitution effect between organizational redundancy and operating time in China is significant. Under the circumstances of heterogeneity of location and time effect, bilateral good political relationship can directly promote the performance of foreign-funded enterprises, at the same time, it has a certain substitution effect on the market ability and organizational redundancy of foreign-funded enterprises.
