政府债务与经济增长的关系——针对新兴市场国家政府债务阈值的讨论

【摘要】：2007年次贷危机和2008年全球金融危机后,各国政府普遍采用了凯恩斯主义的扩张型财政政策应对危机期间的流动性不足及中长期内经济复苏问题,这样的代价便是政府债务规模迅速增加。政府债务的合理规模直接关系到经济复苏和经济增长,探讨政府债务与经济增长的关系及政府债务的阈值,对于解决全球经济不景气的现状有着重要的现实意义。实证研究发现,新兴市场国家政府债务对经济增长具有非线性效应,并且其对经济增长的阈值点高于发达国家。以中国为代表的新兴市场经济国家在经济增长过程中应避免对政府债务的过度依赖,警惕政府负债过高造成经济增长的下滑。
[Abstract]:After the subprime mortgage crisis in 2007 and the global financial crisis in 2008, the governments adopted Keynesian expansionary fiscal policies to deal with the liquidity shortage and economic recovery in the medium and long term. This cost is the rapid increase in the size of government debt. The reasonable size of government debt is directly related to economic recovery and economic growth. The relationship between government debt and economic growth and the threshold of government debt are discussed. It has important practical significance to solve the global economic depression. Empirical research shows that emerging market countries' government debt has a nonlinear effect on economic growth. And the threshold point of economic growth is higher than that of developed countries. The emerging market economy countries represented by China should avoid excessive dependence on government debt in the process of economic growth and be on guard against the decline of economic growth caused by excessive government debt.
