我国中学英语课程目标的演变

【摘要】:目前,英语改革成为“重头戏”,引发了对中小学英语课程的角色定位的审视与思考。中小学生学习英语究竟是为了什么?英语课程改革又会走向何方?英语课程目标问题成为一个亟需研究和解决的重要课题。课程目标的确立是课程编制之前提,是选择课程内容和教学评价的重要依据。课程目标明示课程进展的方向,规定了课程计划的范围,揭示了课程计划的要点。中学英语课程目标是中学英语课程改革的核心问题,引领中学英语课程改革的方向,规定了英语的课程设置、课程实施、主要内容。研究中学英语课程目标有利于进一步明确中学英语教育在整个教育体系中的作用。本研究基于民国以来的中学英语课程标准(教学大纲)、中学英语教材以及对中学英语教师的采访,梳理与分析自民国以来中学英语课程目标的特点和实施情况,分析中学英语课程目标的发展脉络,总结我国中学英语课程的发展特点,并对中学英语课程目标的设置与实施提出建议,以期为当前英语课程目标编制和课程目标体系的确立提供借鉴,从而促进英语课程基础理论的建设以及我国英语教育的改革与发展。论文包括六个部分:第一部分:主要介绍了选题的研究背景与意义、研究现状、研究展望以及研究方法与概念界定。第二部分:介绍民国时期英语课程目标设置的背景、特点及实施情况。重点阐述这个时期重视英语课程,忽视国语课程;重基础与生活实用,日渐关注人文性;中学英语课程目标与实际教学存在差距等特点。第三部分:介绍建国初期与文化大革命期间英语课程目标的背景、特点及实施情况。分析在俄语发展迅速,英语发展连番受挫的社会背景下,英语课程目标呈现出要求简化、重视语音词汇等基础知识、忽视听说技能训练、政治色彩浓厚等特点。英语课程目标实施过程中存在英语学时减少、学生学习热情较低、语用能力差的现象。第四部分:介绍改革开放时期中学英语课程目标的改革背景、特点及实施情况。分析在国际交流扩大、英语人才需求增加的背景下,英语课程目标呈现出从重视阅读、自学和翻译能力向重视语用能力和人文性发展的特点,探讨实施过程中突出的“哑巴英语”问题。第五部分:介绍新课程改革时期中学英语课程目标的改革背景、特点及实施情况。重点分析英语课程目标的三维度五要素结构,阐述英语课程目标呈整体性发展并在实践过程中继续完善的趋势。第六部分:总结分析了我国中学英语课程目标发展演变的五个特点,即意识形态与英语课程密切相关、目标始终坚持基础知识与基本技能的基础性地位、跨文化意识目标的地位日益巩固、语言交际能力目标实施长期弱化以及呈现工具性与人文性的“钟摆现象”。最后探讨中学英语课程目标设置与实施应该注意四个问题,即英语学科、学习者和社会需求三大要素之间的关系问题,语言与文化关系问题,工具性与人文性关系问题以及语言知识与语言运用能力关系问题。
[Abstract]:At present, the English reform has become a "key play", which has triggered a survey and Reflection on the role orientation of English courses in primary and secondary schools. What is it for primary and middle school students to learn English for? And where will English curriculum reform go? The problem of English curriculum objectives has become an important subject which needs to be studied and resolved. The establishment of curriculum objectives is the course compilation. The premise of the system is the important basis for the selection of curriculum content and teaching evaluation. The goal of the course shows the direction of the course progress, defines the scope of the curriculum plan and reveals the main points of the curriculum plan. The goal of the middle school English course is the core problem of the curriculum reform in middle school English, leading the direction of the reform of the middle school English course and stipulates the English course. This study is based on the middle school English Curriculum Standards (Syllabus) since the Republic of China, the middle school English teaching materials and the interview with the English language teachers in middle schools. This study combed and analyzed the middle school since the Republic of China. The characteristics and implementation of English curriculum objectives, analysis of the development of middle school English curriculum objectives, summarize the development characteristics of middle school English courses in China, and put forward suggestions for the setting and implementation of middle school English curriculum objectives, in order to provide reference for the establishment of the current English curriculum objectives and the establishment of the curriculum target system, thus promoting English lessons. The construction of the basic theory of Cheng and the reform and development of English education in China. The thesis consists of six parts: the first part is the introduction of the background and significance of the research, the present situation, the prospect of the study and the definition of the research methods and concepts. The second part introduces the background, characteristics and implementation of the target setting of English language courses in the period of the Republic of China. Focus on the emphasis on English courses in this period, ignore the national language courses, heavy foundation and practical life, increasingly concerned about the humanities, middle school English curriculum goals and the actual teaching gap and other characteristics. The third part: introduce the background, characteristics and implementation of English curriculum goals during the early period of the founding of the people's Republic of China and the cultural revolution. Under the social background of rapid development of English, English curriculum aims to be simplified, pay attention to the basic knowledge of phonetic vocabulary, ignore the training of listening and speaking skills, and have strong political color. The fourth part: the decrease of English learning time, low enthusiasm of students and poor pragmatic competence. In the context of the expansion of international communication and the increase in the demand for English talents, the aim of English curriculum is to discuss the characteristics of the emphasis on reading, self-study and translation to the development of pragmatic competence and humanism in the context of the expansion of international exchanges and the increasing demand for English talents. The fifth part: introduce the reform background, characteristics and implementation of English curriculum goals in the period of the new curriculum reform. It focuses on the analysis of the five elements structure of the three dimensional degree of English curriculum objectives, and expounds the trend of the overall development of the English curriculum objectives and the continuing improvement in the practice process. The sixth part is to summarize and analyze our country. The five characteristics of the development of English curriculum goals in middle school are that ideology is closely related to English courses. The goals always adhere to the basic position of basic knowledge and basic skills. The status of the goal of cross-cultural awareness is increasingly consolidated, the goal of language communication is weakened for a long time and the "pendulum phenomenon" of instrumental and humanistic. In the end, four questions should be paid attention to the goal setting and implementation of the middle school English course, that is, the relationship between the English subject, the learners and the social needs, the relationship between language and culture, the relationship between the tool and the humanities, and the relationship between the ability of language knowledge and the use of language.
