通过合作学习培养和提高初中生英语自主学习能力的研究

【摘要】:在近些年来的教学研究中小组合作学习是比较热门的话题,小组合作学习的研究对于教育家和教学工作者都有着深刻的价值和意义。这是一种具有实践性强、方法新颖、高效的学习方法。该教学方法的研究对外语的教学同样具有积极的作用。与此同时,自主学习在近几十年来也赢得了广大教育研究者和教育工作者的普遍认可,许多著名的专家学者都对此很认同并发表相关著作。对自主学习者而言,逐步培养和提高自主学习能力的一个黄金阶段是初中时期,因为在这个阶段学生的年龄和学习能力都已经达到了一个相对成熟的阶段,可谓是培养自主学习的最佳时期。在这个时期逐步培养自我学习的能力对将来更高阶段的自主学习起到铺垫作用,为将来的培养打下坚实的基础。笔者经过查阅资料和调查研究发现,就目前的相关研究而言,对于自主学习方法和实践的研究侧重点多是在高中阶段以及大学的外语学习中,而研究初中学校英语教学涉及的专家和学者并不多。基于以上原因,此研究的学习者主要是初中生,在课堂上通过合作学习培养和提高他们的自主学习能力。本论文通过在实际教学中采取小组合作的方式培养和提高初中生自主学习能力。经过对通辽虹桥中学整个初二年级组10个班级摸底考试和问卷调查,并对考试成绩和问卷调查进行数据分析后,确定这两个班级学生在学习成绩、学习动机、学生的自我监控和评价方面不存在明显的差异。因而确定其中一个班级被定为本次教学研究的实验班,另一个班级是本次实验的对照班。作为本次实验研究的实验班采取的是小组合作学习的教学方法,对照班采用的仍是传统的英语学习方法。实验班和对照班运用不同的学习方法,经过整整一个学期的测试,实验证明在合作学习的环境下,实验班的学生真正把学习的自主权交给了自己。实验班学生的期末英语成绩有了明显的提高。与没有采取小组合作学习的对照班相比较,实验班学生对英语学习的兴趣,学生在学习时的自我监控和评价都有了明显的提高。本实验可以证明通过小组合作学习可以培养和提高学生的学习动机、自我监控和评价,进而有助于提高学生的自主学习能力。
[Abstract]:Group cooperative learning is a hot topic in teaching research in recent years. The study of group cooperative learning has profound value and significance for both educators and teachers. This is a practical, novel and efficient learning method. The research of this teaching method also plays a positive role in foreign language teaching. At the same time, autonomous learning has won the general recognition of educational researchers and educators in recent decades, many famous experts and scholars agree with this and published related works. For autonomous learners, a golden stage for gradually developing and improving autonomous learning ability is the junior middle school period, where the students' age and learning ability have reached a relatively mature stage. It is the best time to cultivate self-learning. In this period, the ability to develop self-learning will pave the way for future self-learning and lay a solid foundation for future cultivation. The author finds that the research on autonomous learning methods and practice is focused on the senior high school and college foreign language learning, as far as the current research is concerned. But the research junior middle school English teaching involves the expert and the scholar not many. For the above reasons, the learners in this study are mainly junior high school students, through cooperative learning in the classroom to develop and improve their autonomous learning ability. This paper develops and improves junior high school students' autonomous learning ability by adopting group cooperation in practical teaching. After the mapping test and questionnaire survey of 10 classes in the whole junior high school of Hongqiao Middle School in Tongliao, and after the data analysis of the test results and questionnaires, the students in these two classes are determined in terms of their academic achievement and learning motivation. There is no obvious difference in self-monitoring and evaluation of students. Thus, one class is designated as the experimental class and the other is the control class. The experimental class of this experiment adopts the teaching method of group cooperative learning, while the control class still adopts the traditional English learning method. The experimental class and the control class used different learning methods. After a whole semester's test, the experiment proved that under the environment of cooperative learning, the students in the experimental class really handed over the autonomy of learning to themselves. The final English scores of the students in the experimental class have been obviously improved. Compared with the control class without group cooperative learning, the interest of the students in English learning and the self-monitoring and evaluation of the students in the experimental class have improved significantly. This experiment can prove that group cooperative learning can cultivate and improve students' learning motivation, self-monitoring and evaluation, and then help improve students' autonomous learning ability.
