【摘要】：正中世纪的大学是学者的行会,传道授业既是大学最基本的使命,也是教授们谋生的手段。柏林大学开创了科学研究的先河,成为现代大学的原型,但是,由于曲高和寡,它被人们称为不食人间烟火的"象牙塔"。二战以来,美国大学的人才培养和科学研究都着眼于科技经济社会发展的需要,把服务社会列为大学的第三个基本功能。智库作为现代社会从事战略和政策研究、咨询的专业机构,是现代政治运作、行政管理和社会治理综合需求的产物,是知识社会分工进一步
[Abstract]:In the Middle Ages, universities were the guild of scholars. Preaching was not only the basic mission of universities, but also the means for professors to make a living. Berlin University pioneered scientific research and became the prototype of modern universities. Since World War II, the talent training and scientific research in American universities have focused on the needs of the development of science, technology, economy and society, and listed serving the society as the third basic function of universities. As a professional institution engaged in strategy and policy research and consultation in modern society, think tank is the product of the comprehensive demand of modern political operation, administration and social governance, and is a further division of labor in the knowledge society.
