阿富汗霍斯特市大学生社交媒体成瘾的定量研究

本研究调查了阿富汗霍斯特市大学生的社交媒体成瘾现象。本研究旨在确定学生在一定的时间间隔内使用社交媒体最多的平台,以及他们使用这些社交媒体平台的目的。本研究的主要目的是检验社交媒体成瘾是否存在,以及成瘾程度如何。样本量是由阿富汗霍斯特市谢赫·扎耶德(Shaikh Zayed)大学、帕米尔(Pamir)大学和艾哈迈德·沙阿·阿卜杜利(Ahmad Shah Abdali)大学等三所大学的384名学生计算得出的。本研究采用概率分层随机抽样的方法,向参与者发放了一份35个问题的问卷。本文复制和扩展了金伯利·杨博士的网络成瘾测试法(IAT),以测量学生中的社交媒体成瘾现象。本研究以使用与满足与媒介系统依赖理论为理论框架。调查结果显示,在所有在线平台中,Facebook是使用频率最高的社交媒体平台。社交媒体被用于社交目的,主要是获取新闻和维持关系。除此之外,研究还发现,社交媒体成瘾在受访者中存在不同程度的存在。在不考虑不考虑政治稳定、文化水平低、经济疲软和冲突等情况下,该研究在阿富汗类欠发达国家证实了两种理论。
