多元智能理论在初中英语词汇教学中的实证研究

  众所周知,词汇与语言能力密切相关。尽管词汇在教学中已经受到高度重视,但它仍然是初中生学习中的薄弱环节。除了缺乏词汇量之外,学生在读写中不能很好的使用单词,从而导致对英语学习失去了兴趣,也是一种常见的现象。国家英语课程标准主张为提高教学效率,教育应考虑到学生的个体差异,最大限度地满足学生的不同发展需要。笔者认为,多元智能理论是改善学生词汇教与学状况,满足学生需求的一种有效的方法。多元智能理论认为,为全面促进学生的发展,在教学中应注意个体的不同智能分布,并在课堂上开展大量不同类型的教学活动。本文将多元智能理论应用到词汇教学中,主要探讨了以下两个研究问题。问题1:基于多元智能理论的词汇教学能否改进学生的词汇学习策略?问题2:基于多元智能理论的词汇教学能否提高学生的词汇能力?为了探索将多元智能理论应用于词汇教学的有效性,笔者在辽宁省海城市感王中学选择了7年级的2个班作为实验对象,进行了为期17周的教学实验。实验班采用多元智能理论教学,控制课采用传统教学方法。通过问卷调查、测验和访谈等方式分析,结果表明,实验班英语词汇学习策略得到了改善,而且实验班英语词汇运用能力明显高于控制班。这说明将多元智能...
