美国高校学生事务管理理念的借鉴探析

【摘要】：经过多年的发展,高校的学生事务管理逐渐成为高等教育系统中不可缺少的重要工作。美国高校学生事务管理是为了营造一种可以达到教育目标的良好的校园环境。学生事务管理的工作人员作为管理者,他们的主要职责就是录取新生、对学生的学习和生活进行指导。通过对各种专业的研究方向和就业形势的分析,帮助学生选择自己喜欢的专业并且规划未来的职业目标。为提高中国高校学生事务的管理水平,很有必要借鉴美国高校学生事务管理的先进理念和成功经验。本文具体内容通过五个部分进行阐述：第一部分：学生事务管理相关概念的界定。这部分阐述了学生事务和学生事务管理的概念。第二部分：美国高校学生事务管理的特性。本部分首先介绍了美国高校学生事务管理的发展历史,包括学生事务管理的产生前期,萌芽时期,形成时期以及其发展时期。其次总结了美国学生事务管理的理念,主要体现在“三性三化”上,即学生素质发展的整体性、学生事务管理的人本性、思想道德教育的社会性、管理方法法制化、管理模式专业化、管理队伍职业化。第三部分：中美高校学生事务管理理念的差异及原因。首先对我国高校学生工作的发展历程做了一个简单的介绍。其次是中美高校学生事务管理理念的区别,主要体现在核心价值现、学生事务工作的绩效标准以及高校学生事务管理的工作规范等几个方面的不同。最后阐述了导致中美高校学生事务管理理念差异的原因,主要是高校学生事务的地位和作用不同、对学生工作的中心职能理解不同、对外部合作关系理解不同,以及对学生事务工作资源的理解不同。第四部分：当前我国高校学生事务管理工作现状。我国的学生工作虽然起步比较晚,但是也取得了一些成就,例如提出了以学生为本的管理理念,提出了以学生为主体的管理主张,开始探索为学生服务的实践模式以及积极探索学生事务管理与思想政治教育的融合。相比之下,我们发现我国高校学生事务管理还存在很多问题,如学生事务管理的理念不尽科学,学生事务管理的职责不够明确等。第五部分：美国高校学生事务管理给我们的启示。美国高校学生事务管理给了我们很多有益额启示,我们要借鉴美国高校的事务管理理念,为我所用。在我国高校学生事务管理工作中,首先,要积极推进高校学生事务管理理念的发展,做到“四个始终”,即始终突出核心教育,培养学生的国际视野；始终紧跟学生需求,推动学业不断进步；始终坚持服务至上,为成长成才牵线搭桥；始终做到尊重理解,营造平等开放的软环境。第二,要树立以生为本的理念,在实现以生为本的途径和方法方面,做到在维护学生合法权益上下功夫、在实现学生自我管理上下功夫、在培养学生自信自强上下功夫、在塑造学生成熟人格上下功夫、在帮助学生树立安全意识上下功夫。第三,要完善学生事务的管理制度。其中首先要明确学生事务管理的职责范围,其次我们还要规范学生事务管理的运作程序。只有运行良好的运作程序,才能使学生事务管理走上正轨,达到预期的效果。第四,要推行以学生为主体的管理模式。例如,鼓励学生参与学校管理、理解尊重学生的多样化发展、增强学生工作的法制意识和民主意识。第五,要加强学生事务管理工作队伍建设,推进高校辅导员队伍的职业化建设,健全学生事务管理的沟通协作机制。经过这些方面的努力,我相信我国的高校学生工作会更上一层楼的。

The management of student affairs in American colleges and universities is to create a good campus environment that can reach the goal of education. The staff of student affairs management are the managers, their main duty is to recruit new students. To guide the students' study and life. Through the analysis of the research direction and employment situation of various specialties, it helps students to choose their favorite specialties and plan their future career goals. In order to improve the management level of Chinese college students' affairs, it is very necessary to draw on the advanced concept and success of the American college student affairs management. The specific contents of this article are expounded in five parts:
The first part is about the definition of student affairs management. This part expounds the concept of student affairs and student affairs management.
The second part: the characteristics of Student Affairs Management in American colleges and universities. This part first introduces the history of the development of Student Affairs Management in American colleges and universities, including the prophase, germination period, formation period and development period of student affairs management. The fourth part: the current situation of College Student Affairs Management in our country. In contrast, we find that there are many problems in the management of students' affairs in our universities, such as the idea of student affairs management is not scientific, and the responsibility of student affairs management is not clear.

The American college student affairs management has given us a lot of beneficial enlightenment, we should draw lessons from the business management idea of American colleges and universities for our use. In the work of College Student Affairs Management in our country, first of all, we should advance the development of the idea of college student affairs management. To the "four always", that is to highlight the core education, cultivate the international vision of the students, always follow the needs of the students, promote the progress of the study, always adhere to the service first, and build a bridge for growth, and always respect understanding and create an equal and open soft environment. Second, we should set up a concept of living based on the idea of living.
