教育促进何种幸福:洞穴之内还是洞穴之外

【摘要】:对于教育的终极目的是不是幸福,人们有很多争议,但这些论争其实并没有进入问题的关键。尽管人的幸福有很多的外在条件和偶然性,但教育指向促进人的幸福是没有疑问的。现在需要追问的是,教育促进何种幸福:洞穴之内还是洞穴之外。教育如果是促进人在洞穴内的攀升,则教育对于促进人的幸福具有内在性;反之,教育在促进人的幸福上就构成了外在性。这两种情况体现了两种教育:哲学教育和政治教育,它们都指向促进人的幸福,但内涵截然不同。教育在政治的限度内谋求的是相对的幸福,但我们仍然需要追求相对幸福的最大可能,即需要在人道的范围内探索教育如何朝向个体生命自身。不管是微观的教育活动还是宏观的教育事业,都需要在这个内涵上促进人的幸福。如此,教育促进人的幸福才变得具体和有意义。
[Abstract]:There is a lot of debate about whether the ultimate goal of education is happiness, but these debates are not really the key to the problem. Although human happiness has many external conditions and contingency, there is no doubt that education can promote human happiness. What needs to be asked now is what kind of happiness education promotes: inside or outside the cave. If education is to promote people's climbing in caves, then education is intrinsic to promote human's happiness; conversely, education constitutes externality in promoting human's happiness. These two situations embody two kinds of education: philosophical education and political education, both of which are directed at promoting human happiness, but with very different connotations. Education seeks relative happiness within the limits of politics, but we still need to pursue the greatest possible of relative happiness, that is, we need to explore within the scope of humanity how education is oriented towards the individual life itself. Both micro-educational activities and macro-educational undertakings need to promote human happiness in this connotation. In this way, education promotes human happiness to become concrete and meaningful.
