利他体验对身体力量和运动速度的促进作用

【摘要】:人们对利他益处的认识由来已久。印度有句古谚语“予人玫瑰,手有余香”;圣经中说“施比受更有福”。已有研究表明,不管是真实的做好事还是想象自己在做好事,都能够增强个人的身体力量、意志力和韧性(Gray,2010);而且,在家庭生活中能够为家庭成员尽可能提供帮助的施助成员,其死亡率低于受助成员(Brown,Nesse,Vinokur,Smith,2003);在社会生活中参加志愿者活动为他人提供帮助的青少年,患有心血管疾病的风险显著降低(Schreier,Schonert-Reichl,Chen,2013)。虽然当前能够查阅到的利他与健康的研究、身体功能对运动员和老年人心理健康影响的研究均较多,但关于利他与身体功能的研究却很少。本研究以利他理论为基础,探讨利他体验对不同身体功能的促进作用。这不仅进一步扩展利他与健康的研究,更有助于人们树立正确的助人观,对推进社会和谐文明有积极作用。本研究以在校大学生为被试,通过利他启动使被试产生利他体验,进行了四个行为实验。四个实验均采用被试间设计,探讨利他体验能否对身体功能产生促进作用,其中实验1测量被试平举哑铃的时间,实验2测量被试手握握力器的时间,实验3测量被试对重物评估的数值,实验4测量被试走路的时间。研究结果表明:1.利他体验对身体力量具有显著影响。利他体验组平举哑铃时间、手握握力器时间均显著高于非利他体验组;利他体验组评估重物重量之和显著低于非利他体验组。2.利他体验对运动速度具有显著影响,利他体验组完成走路任务时间比非利他体验组更短。
[Abstract]:Altruism has long been known. There is an old Indian proverb, "give roses, hands have incense"; the Bible says, "Blessing is better than receiving." Research has shown that whether it's actually doing good or imagining what you're doing, it increases your physical strength, willpower, and resilience, and it's also about helping family members as much as they can in their family life. The mortality rate was lower than that of the recipient member, Brown Nesseau Vinokurn Smith / 2003.Adolescent who participated in volunteer activities to help others in social life had a significantly lower risk of cardiovascular disease than Schreierern Schonert-Reichln Chenn (2013). Although there are many researches on the effects of physical function on the mental health of athletes and the elderly, there are few researches on altruism and physical function. Based on Ellison's theory, this study explores the effect of altruistic experience on different body functions. This not only further expands altruism and health research, but also helps people to set up a correct view of helping others, and plays a positive role in promoting social harmony and civilization. In this study, four behavioral experiments were carried out, in which altruistic experience was induced by altruistic priming. The four experiments were designed to explore whether altruistic experience could promote the body function. Experiment 1 measured the time of holding the dumbbell flat, and the second measured the time of holding the gripping force in the hands of the subjects. Experiment 3 measured the value of weight evaluation, and experiment 4 measured the time of walking. The results of the study show that 1: 1. Altruistic experience has a significant effect on physical strength. The time of holding dumbbell and grip force in altruistic experience group was significantly higher than that in non-altruistic experience group, and the sum of weight in altruistic experience group was significantly lower than that in non-altruistic experience group. 2. Altruistic experience has a significant effect on exercise speed, altruistic experience group has shorter time to complete walking task than non-altruistic experience group.
