美德的共通性与美德伦理学的独特性及其对道德教育的启示

【摘要】:美德具有共通性,由此可以解释不同伦理学流派、不同伦理学类型或不同伦理学家都不约而同地关注、重视美德这一无可辩驳的事实。美德伦理学具有相对于义务论伦理学或功利论伦理学的独特性或独立价值,这主要表现为其结构上的独立性、美德自身的实在性以及美德作为善的独特性。对于道德教育来说,既然美德具有共通性,那么,我们对于美德概念的理解、对于美德之构成及美德之模塑途径等的了解,就不仅应当而且可能参考我们悠久的文化历史资源及与我们有着不同价值体系、不同理想信念的西方国家中民间与学术界的传统积淀或研究成果;既然美德伦理学具有独特性或独立价值,而且这种独特性或独立价值不是功利论或义务论所能取代的,那么,我们就不能固着于功利论或义务论的套路及程序,而应当将美德伦理学引入道德教育,以美德论之优势来弥补功利论或义务论之缺失。
[Abstract]:Virtue is common, which can explain the irrefutable fact that different schools of ethics, different types of ethics or different ethicists pay close attention to virtue. Virtue ethics has the unique or independent value compared with obligation ethics or utilitarian ethics, which is mainly manifested in its structural independence, virtue itself reality and virtue as the uniqueness of good. As far as moral education is concerned, since virtue is common, our understanding of the concept of virtue, the formation of virtue and the moulding of virtue, etc., We should and may refer to our long cultural and historical resources and the traditional accumulation or research achievements of the folk and academic circles in the western countries with different value systems and different ideals and beliefs. Since virtue ethics is unique or independent, and this uniqueness or independent value cannot be replaced by utilitarianism or obligations, we cannot cling to the routines and procedures of utilitarianism or obligation. Virtue ethics should be introduced into moral education to remedy the deficiency of utilitarianism or obligation theory.
