Perspectives on CALL Applications

本文主要阐述的是计算机辅助语言学习实际应用的方方面面,尤其是在课堂上外语教学和学习方面的应用。计算机辅助语言学习,顾名思义,是指在语言学习过程中使用计算机进行学习。麦克?利维定义其为“在语言教学和学习过程中对计算机应用的研究”。计算机辅助语言学习很早就已出现,并广泛应用于教学和学习中,因此进行这方面研究是必要的并且值得的。本文共分为五部分,第一部分主要介绍的是计算机辅助语言学习的定义、历史发展及其经历的三个阶段。此部分可以使读者明确计算机辅助语言学习源于语言教学及学习中使用的媒体教学法,同时也可以对其有初步的了解。第二部分则是计算机辅助语言学习的理论基础。理论基础也有一个发展过程,即从行为主义,经历认知主义,最后是建构主义的发展过程。接下来的部分是计算机辅助语言学习的应用,此部分为文章中最重要的部分,也是理论联系实际的部分。第四部分是课堂教学中的实例及其评估。最后一部分阐述了计算机辅助语言学习的优缺点,同时还向外语教师提供了必要的可行性建议。从整篇文章中,我们可以了解到计算机在课堂教学中只是一种工具,计算机技术对于语言教学和学习来说,并不是万灵药, 它需要大量时间和金钱的投入,同时使用...
