　　本文为英汉翻译实践报告,翻译原文《教育论》是英国哲学家詹姆斯·穆勒为英国百科全书撰写的学术著作。该书提倡“最大多数人的最大幸福”,结合功利主义和联想主义心理学理解教育问题,建议我们应该通过“家庭教育”“技术教育”“社会教育”“政治教育”等方式来实现幸福。《教育论》不仅对英国的教育改革与发展产生了深远的影响,也可作为中国当前教育的参考,故译者选此作为翻译文本。学术著作语言表达准确,句子结构复杂严谨。对此,译者以系统功能语言学的三大元功能理论为指导,旨在忠实再现原文。在翻译过程中,译者通过对原文的翻译难点进行探索,发现三大元功能理论的分析应用可以帮助译者提高语境意识,规范翻译过程中的措辞选择,从而有效地指导翻译实践。首先,译者借助及物性分析确定原文的过程,在译文中再现对等的经验意义。其次,译者分析原文的语气和情态,识别作者人际意图,在翻译过程中尽量还原。再者,鉴于原文的从句在逻辑语义关系上主要是形合,译者运用逻辑功能分析语篇,在理解复合句逻辑的基础上进行适当转换。最后,通过对原文的衔接手段和主述位结构分析,译者忠实再现原文,使译文通顺流畅。此次翻译实践提升了译者对三大元功能理论的认知,希望...
