在华留学生的文化智力和情绪智力对文化适应压力和抑郁的作用

  国际教育交流项目为留学生和东道国双方提供机遇,带来许多互惠优势。然而,留学生在对东道国新的教育和社会文化环境的调整适应过程中也将遇到很多挑战,这些挑战可能导致文化适应压力和抑郁等负性心理健康问题,特别是在缺乏相应的保护性措施或应对策略的情况下。虽然有少数研究尝试探索在华留学生文化适应经历,但关于影响留学生心理适应的个体差异因素的实证研究却很少。鉴于此,本研究旨在探讨文化智力和情绪智力等个体差异因素在文化适应压力和抑郁中的作用。被试样本由506名留学生构成,他们来自中国武汉的七所大学。被试完成成套自我报告问卷,以测量他们的文化智力、情绪智力、文化适应压力和抑郁症状。运用分层回归分析和路径分析等统计方法进行分析。分层回归分析结果显示,在控制社会人口学变量条件下,文化智力和情绪智力对文化适应压力和抑郁都有显著的负向预测作用,表明情绪智力和文化智力水平较高的留学生的文化适应压力较低、抑郁症状较少。文化适应压力正向预测抑郁症状。分层回归分析和路径分析显示,文化适应压力完全中介文化智力与抑郁的关系,部分中介情绪智力与抑郁的关系。本文的研究结果可用于培养国际学生的情绪智力和文化智力,从而提升他们在东...
