美国大学生成功研究述评

【摘要】：大学生成功(Student Success)是当今美国高等教育面临的一个富有挑战性的问题,许多学生认为他们并没有实现高等教育的目标或从大学经历中获取较多的收益。因此促进大学生取得学业成功成为了学校、管理者、教师以及家长们的头等大事,也是许多学者的研究课题。 美国中学后教育研究中心(Center for Postsecondary Research)为了提升大学生学业成功首先在印第安纳大学推行了大学生学业成功研究项目,随后其它大学的学者们也开始关注大学生成功这一课题,根据不同类型学校以及不同类型学生的实际情况进行了大量深入的研究,并且取得了一些阶段性的成果。 本文对美国有关大学生成功的研究状况,尤其是近十年流行的大学生成功项目进行了梳理和评析。文章从社会学、组织学、心理学和经济学等几个方面阐述了美国大学生成功研究的理论依据；介绍了大学生成功的内涵及指标；归纳了大学生成功内部和外部的影响因素；最后从学校、教师和学生个体三个层面总结了促进大学生成功的策略。
[Abstract]:College students' success in (Student Success) is a challenging problem in American higher education nowadays. Many students believe that they have not achieved the goal of higher education or obtained more benefits from their college experience. Therefore, promoting college students' academic success has become a top priority for schools, administrators, teachers and parents, and is also a research topic for many scholars. In order to improve the academic success of college students, the American Center for Post-secondary Education (Center for Postsecondary Research) first launched the undergraduate academic success Research Program at Indiana University, and then scholars from other universities began to pay attention to the subject of college students' success. According to the actual situation of different types of schools and different types of students, a lot of in-depth research has been carried out, and some achievements have been made. This paper reviews and analyzes the current research situation of college students' success in America, especially the popular university students' success projects in recent ten years. This paper expounds the theoretical basis of American college students' success research from the aspects of sociology, organization, psychology and economics, introduces the connotation and index of college students' success, summarizes the internal and external influencing factors of college students' success. Finally, the strategies to promote college students' success are summarized from three aspects: school, teacher and student.
