语言经济学视角下自费留学的成本—收益分析

【摘要】：在经济全球化的背景下,中国有着前所未有的经济发展。在国内激烈的就业竞争下,有海外留学背景的人似乎更有就业上的优势。近年来,中国家庭的生活水平逐步提高,越来越多的中国年青一代希望在知识经济时代走出国门拓宽视野,完成学业,完善自我。同时,越来越多的家长也抱着付诸一切的心态为孩子们的海外教育做出大量经济上的投资。然而,在国内激烈的就业竞争下,这样的投资有时并不能带来理想的效果。因此,对国内自费留学做出成本收益的全面分析去衡量这种海外教育投资显得尤为必要。本文的研究目的是去探讨自费留学成本和收益之间的关系,基于利益最大化原则,给予要进行海外教育投资的人们一些有益的建议。语言经济学这一交叉学科,首次是由雅各布·马尔萨克在1965年提出的。它运用经济学工具和方法对语言水平的决定因素和结果进行分析。基于教育经济学理论,语言经济学认为语言本身是一种人力资本。大多数国内外语言经学家的研究集中于英语教学研究、教育系统研究或者语言运用和翻译中的经济原则研究。对于自费留学问题,国内外专家大都是从纯经济学的角度来探讨的。实际上,留学教育也是人们对语言和人力资本做出的投资。至今为止,没有研究从语言经济中学的角度探讨自费留学问题。借助语言经济学理论和其他一些经济学方法,本文尝试对我国自费留学现象进行成本收益分析,从而去衡量现今我国的自费留学投资问题。在成本分析部分中,公共和私人投资将会被仔细探究。直接和间接的收益将会在收益分析部分中揭示。根据以上分析研究,本文在理论上提出一个最优投资组合。最后,本文从政府、社会和个人的角度对自费留学提出建议,以此来帮助人们实现海外教育投资的利益最大化。成本收益分析法、公共产品理论和投资组合理论将被引入到本文的研究之中。本文中,对调查问卷的分析,是进一步说明现今我国自费留学的具体状况,该问卷设计的目的是提高研究的客观性和准确性。通过调查问卷的分析,本文发现我国现今自费留学投资存在的主要问题。从公共产品、私人产品、混合产品和俱乐部产品四个角度的分析,文章指出要达到最佳投资效果,需要四方协力。研究从政府监管、社会引导和个人努力三个方面提出建议作结。在语言经济学的理论框架下,本文尝试性地运用了数据分析,最终提出自费留学的最佳投资组合模型。研究的意义是在对自费海外教育投资的成本收益分析下提出建议,使人们更好的去平衡自身投资以实现自身利益的最大化效应。
[Abstract]:Under the background of economic globalization, China has unprecedented economic development. Under the fierce domestic employment competition, people with overseas study background seem to have more advantages in employment. In recent years, the living standards of Chinese families have gradually improved. More and more young Chinese want to go abroad and broaden their horizons, finish their studies and improve themselves in the era of knowledge economy. More and more parents are also making a lot of financial investment in their children's overseas education. However, in the fierce job competition at home, such investment sometimes does not have the desired effect. The purpose of this paper is to explore the relationship between the cost and income of self-funded study abroad, based on the principle of profit maximization. Give some useful advice to people who want to invest in overseas education. The interdiscipline of language economics, first proposed by Jacob Malsac in 1965, uses economic tools and methods to analyze the determinants and outcomes of language proficiency, based on the theory of educational economics. Language economics regards language itself as a kind of human capital. Most studies by linguists at home and abroad focus on the study of English teaching, the study of the educational system, or the study of economic principles in language use and translation. Experts at home and abroad are mostly from the perspective of pure economics. In fact, the education of studying abroad is also an investment in language and human capital. Up to now, no study has been done to discuss the problem of studying abroad at one's own expense from the angle of the middle school of language economics. With the help of the theory of linguistic economics and some other economic methods, this paper attempts to analyze the cost and benefit of the phenomenon of studying abroad at one's own expense in our country, so as to measure the investment problem of studying abroad at one's own expense in our country. In the part of cost analysis, Public and private investment will be carefully explored. Direct and indirect returns will be revealed in the income analysis section. Based on the above analysis, this paper proposes an optimal portfolio in theory. In order to help people to maximize the benefits of overseas education investment, social and personal perspective to provide suggestions for self-funded study abroad. Cost-benefit analysis, The theory of public goods and the theory of portfolio will be introduced into the study of this paper. In this paper, the analysis of the questionnaire is to further explain the specific situation of studying abroad at our own expense. The purpose of the questionnaire design is to improve the objectivity and accuracy of the study. Through the analysis of the questionnaire, this paper finds out the main problems existing in the investment of studying abroad at our own expense. From the four angles of public goods, private products, mixed products and club products, the paper points out that the best investment effect should be achieved. In the theoretical framework of linguistic economics, this paper tries to use data analysis. Finally, the best investment portfolio model of studying abroad at one's own expense is put forward. The significance of the research is to put forward some suggestions under the cost-benefit analysis of self-funded overseas education investment, so that people can better balance their own investment to realize the maximization effect of their own interests.
