【摘要】：书院改制因其对中国近现代教育发展所产生的深远影响,近十年来受到专家学者的日渐重视。"知古"可以"鉴今",研究其中的得与失、是与非,旨在为现代教育改革提供借鉴与启示。鉴于此,编辑部本期特以专题形式集中刊发"近十年书院改制研究述评"、"书院改制对中国高等教育近现代化的影响"、"晚清书院向近代学术转型的内外条件"、"清末四川省会书院改制前后的两难及其变通"四篇文章,以飨读者。
