来华留学生文化适应策略、自尊与文化智力的关系研究

【摘要】:文化适应是指拥有某种文化中的个体,在与另一种文化进行直接、长期且持续的接触时,发生的学习过程。文化适应策略则是留学生在文化适应过程中采取的策略。随着近年来越来越多的外国学生选择来中国进行学习深造,其各方面的问题也就得到了研究者的重视。文化适应作为留学生来到中国所面临的第一个问题,长久以来虽然得到了一些研究者的关注,但研究往往停留在表面,对于其深层原因则很少有探讨;在研究工具方面,更是缺乏适合中国国情的留学生文化适应策略问卷。 针对上述问题,将本研究分为两部分。首先,采用探索性因素分析、验证性因素分析、信效度分析的统计方法对国外的文化适应策略问卷进行修订,经检验,修订问卷信效度良好,符合心理测量学要求。其次,以修订的文化适应策略问卷、文化智力问卷和自尊问卷,生活满意度问卷为工具,对279名来自不同国家的来华留学生进行施测,深入探讨来华留学生文化适应策略的状况以及文化适应策略、文化智力和自尊的关系,以此期望为来华留学生的教育事业做出一点贡献。本研究的主要结果如下: 1、修订的来华留学生文化适应策略问卷的信度和效度均达到心理测量学的要求。 2、来华留学生文化适应策略在性别、年龄、来华时间上不存在显著差异。 3、来华留学生文化适应策略在洲籍、专业分类(文化和语言、科学)、有无中国朋友、中国文化认同程度、汉语水平、日常用语上存在显著差异。4、来华留学生文化智力在洲籍和日常用语上存在显著差异。 5、不同文化智力水平的留学生在文化适应策略上存在显著差异。 6、自尊与文化智力存在显著的正相关,与文化适应策略的边缘化策略存在显著的正相关,与整合策略存在显著的负相关。 7、自尊在来华留学生文化智力和异文化适应策略问存在部分中介作用。 8、来华留学生文化适应策略的同化策略可以有效的预测来华留学生的生活满意度,即同化策略使用的越多,其生活满意度越高。
[Abstract]:Cultural adaptation refers to the learning process that occurs when individuals in a certain culture are in direct, long-term and continuous contact with another culture. Cultural adaptation is a strategy adopted by foreign students in the process of cultural adaptation. With more and more foreign students coming to China for further study in recent years, researchers pay more attention to their various problems. Cultural adaptation, as the first problem for foreign students to come to China, has been concerned by some researchers for a long time, but the research often stays on the surface, and the deep reasons are seldom discussed; in the aspect of research tools, There is also a lack of cultural adaptation strategies questionnaire for Chinese students. In view of the above problems, this study is divided into two parts. First of all, we use exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis and reliability and validity analysis to revise the foreign cultural adaptation strategy questionnaire. The reliability and validity of the revised questionnaire are good and meet the requirements of psychometrics. Secondly, 279 Chinese students from different countries were tested with the revised cultural adaptation strategy questionnaire, cultural intelligence questionnaire, self-esteem questionnaire and life satisfaction questionnaire. This paper probes into the situation of cultural adaptation strategy and the relationship between cultural intelligence and self-esteem of foreign students in China in order to make some contributions to the educational career of foreign students in China. The main results of this study are as follows: 1. The reliability and validity of the revised questionnaire are up to the requirements of psychometrics. 2. There are no significant differences in the cultural adaptation strategies of Chinese students in terms of gender, age, and time to come to China. (3) the cultural adaptation strategy of Chinese students in China is based on Chinese nationality, major classification (culture and language, science, whether there are Chinese friends or not, the degree of Chinese cultural identity, the level of Chinese language, etc.) There are significant differences in daily language. 4. There are significant differences in the cultural intelligence of foreign students from China. 5. There are significant differences in cultural adaptation strategies among foreign students with different levels of cultural intelligence. 6. There is a significant positive correlation between self-esteem and cultural intelligence, a significant positive correlation with the marginalization strategy of cultural adaptation strategies, and a significant negative correlation between self-esteem and integration strategies. 7. Self-esteem plays an intermediary role in foreign students' cultural intelligence and foreign cultural adaptation strategies. 8. The assimilation strategy of the cultural adaptation strategy can effectively predict the life satisfaction of the Chinese students, that is, the more assimilation strategies are used, the higher the life satisfaction.
