美国大学发展史上牧师型校长的领导过程与特征

【摘要】：牧师型校长是17世纪到19世纪中期美国大学发展史上的一个具有鲜明治校特征的群体。他们面临的历史使命和美国大学发展历史阶段的特点,决定了他们的治校手段、方式不同于其它历史时期的校长治校。在筚路蓝缕的开拓进取中,他们用独特的领导智慧维系并推动了美国高等教育的发展。宗教色彩与学生关怀成为牧师型校长领导院校发展的主要特征。
[Abstract]:Pastoral president is a group with distinctive characteristics in the history of the development of American universities from the 17 th century to the middle of the 19 th century. The historical mission they face and the characteristics of the historical stage of the development of American universities determine their methods of governing their schools, which are different from those of presidents in other historical periods. In their pioneering efforts, they maintained and promoted the development of higher education in the United States with their unique leadership wisdom. Religious color and student concern have become the main characteristics of the development of pastoral principal leadership colleges.
