高职非英语专业蒙古族学生英语写作元认知策略训练研究

【摘要】:随着英语的广泛应用,越来越多的学习者意识到掌握英语技能的重要性。有研究表明在英语五大基本技能中,写作是核心,重中之重。因此,如何提高学生的英语写作水平、采取什么样的教学方法等问题是长期以来研究人员、学者和英语教师共同关心的话题。本文试图从元认知策略训练的角度出发探讨了这一问题。元认知策略是指有意识、有计划、有目的性的使用元认知知识,并对学习任务进行合理的计划、监控和自我评价。在所有的学习策略中,它是一种较高层次的、有效的策略。 本研究以实验法为主调查法为辅,采用实验班和对照班前后测实验设计模式,运用自己设计的高职非英语专业蒙古族学生英语写作学习元认知策略训练材料,对河套大学蒙古语言综合系2010级会计电算化专业和畜牧兽医专业的两个班(各班30人)作为被试,随机指定实验班和对照班。对照班的英语写作教学采用传统的教学方法,而实验班采用渗透元认知策略训练的英语写作教学方法。训练结束时将测量数据输入计算机,用SPSS17.0软件进行统计处理。实验结果表明:渗透元认知英语写作策略训练的教学方法,对高职非英语专业蒙古族学生的英语写作教学有积极的作用,,有利于提高蒙古族学生的元认知策略使用水平、英语写作能力以及英语写作成绩,本研究取得了预期的效果。
[Abstract]:With the wide use of English, more and more learners realize the importance of mastering English skills. Some studies have shown that among the five basic English skills, writing is the core and the most important. Therefore, how to improve students' English writing level and what teaching methods should be adopted has been a topic of common concern to researchers, scholars and English teachers for a long time. This paper attempts to discuss this problem from the perspective of metacognitive strategy training. Metacognitive strategy refers to conscious, planned, purposeful use of metacognitive knowledge, and reasonable planning, monitoring and self-evaluation of learning tasks. Among all learning strategies, it is a high-level, effective strategy. This research is supplemented by the experimental method as the main investigation method and adopts the pre-and post-test design mode of the experimental class and the control class, and uses the metacognitive strategy training materials designed by myself for Mongolian students of non-English majors in higher vocational colleges. Two classes (30 students in each class) in the Department of Mongolian language Synthesis, Hetao University, Grade 2010 and Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science, were randomly assigned experimental classes and control classes. The English writing teaching in the control class adopts the traditional teaching method, while the experimental class adopts the English writing teaching method which permeates the metacognitive strategy training. At the end of the training, the measured data were input into the computer and statistical processing was carried out with SPSS17.0 software. The experimental results show that the penetration of metacognitive English writing strategy training has a positive effect on the English writing teaching of non-English major Mongolian students in higher vocational colleges, and it is helpful to improve the use level of metacognitive strategies of Mongolian students. English writing ability and English writing achievement, this study has achieved the expected results.
