词块与物流英语信函

【摘要】：上个世纪70年代中期,Becker和Bolinger最初提出“词块”这一概念,用于解释英语中的多词汇现象：词块是固定的,可以预测的；是介于传统的语法和词汇之间,对于学习者熟练掌握语言有更好的帮助的一种形式。后来越来越多的语言学家将其灵活的应用在语言教学中。在一段时间里,传统的以语法为重心的教学法同以词汇为重心的教学法相碰撞,经语言学家不断的研究分析和实践,肯定了词块组合的存在价值,提出语言是语法化的词汇而并非词汇化的语法；大脑中语块的存储量一定程度上影响着语言输出的流利程度。换而言之,对于教师和学生来说,语块对于英语教学及学习起着举足轻重的作用,语块教学,作为一种学习的捷径,理应广泛采用并贯穿于专业英语教学的全过程。物流,作为专业英语的一门学科,无论在学术上还是在实践中,已经有所发展。但是总体上讲,中国的物流业发展水平还处于初级阶段。特别是在日常交际中,大多数操作人员只会将其掌握的相关单词简单的拼凑,他们的书信也大多都局限于25个词之内,缺乏连贯性和准确性。此外,交流双方对于模棱两可信函只能凭猜测,这种交流方式是不科学的也是不可行的。存在这种问题的原因很多,其中很大程度上与物流英语课程发展缓慢以及缺乏有效地授课方式息息相关。长期以来其教学目标仅局限于定义和内容,这是不可取的。应通过对教材中的内容的学习,引导学生广泛应用到实际业务中去。而物流英语信函,作为国际物流对外交流的重要环节之一,很大程度上影响着交易的成败。鉴于词块在信函中的普遍应用,对物流英语信函中的词块应用的研究是非常重要的。为保证研究的准确性、规范性、和典型性,作者从教程选取了四种较为常用的信函进行分析,分别是采购与订单管理,包装,仓储以及运输,每章节各取五例范文,结合学生的相关的五例信函,进行分析,合计六十篇。基于Nattinger和DeCarrico的词块理论,本论文侧重于定性定量的研究方法,通过以下的研究,寻求专业英语课程物流英语有效地教学方法：物流英语信函中词块的特点、词块物流英语信函篇章框架中的作用,以及语块的优势。作者在研究中,收获颇多：如物流英语中语块使用的频率颇高。从结构上看,固定句式的语块形式是最常见的,其中包括短语限制语块、多词词汇和惯用表达式；从功能上看,对于信函框架的构建以及语篇的连贯自然,词块起到了举足轻重的作用；从学生的角度而言,语块教学更容易接受,使学生在写作过程中有路可循；另外从对社会实例的分析。同时,在研究过程中,笔者发现,在信息网络极度发达的时代,物流英语对学生来说,既陌生有熟悉,物流英语作为一门新兴的英语专业课程,以词块教学为主导,同时应该与内容教学法相结合,在培养学生词块意识的同时,帮助学生习得物流的内容流程,从而使这门学科更好地为就业服务。本研究只是定性定量的尝试性研究,其中存在不足和缺憾。但是无论是语料还是数据,都是真实的,希望能为进一步研究和探讨提供一点价值。
[Abstract]:In the mid - 1970s , Becker and Bolinger initially proposed the concept of " word blocks " to explain the multi - vocabulary phenomenon in English : the word blocks are fixed and predictable ;

Later , more and more linguist use their flexible application in the language teaching . This paper focuses on the whole process of English teaching in English . In addition , it is not scientific and feasible for teachers and students to study the content in English teaching .
In terms of function , it plays an important role in the construction of letter frame and the coherence nature of discourse .
From the perspective of students , the teaching of language blocks is more acceptable , so that students can follow the course of writing ;
At the same time , in the process of research , the author finds that in the era of the extremely developed information network , the logistics English is not only unfamiliar to students , but also should be combined with the content teaching method .
